Passwor removed L590 - NM-B931 (20Q7)

Hello,
I would like to ask for help in removing the password from the EC dump my Lenovo L590.
I have dump from the laptop via Vertyanow, but when I upload a clean EC, there is no password, but laptop on POST generates errors of lack of RFId, SN, etc. of the entire DMI.
Could someone please remove the password from this file to keep the entire DMI? Is this possible? EC is IT8227-256

you can use LMU to write DMI or copy/paste to your clean EC the DMI.

thank you for your reply, I checked your suggestions and tested a few other batches but unfortunately it doesn't work.
This piece of code from the first picture is not a password.
In clean bios it is not possible to fill DMI data, mybe I have wrong programmm
I bought a damaged board and reinstalled the BIOS and KBC - it worked

Hello all, Can someone please help to remove password from IT8227E.
Serial Number PF227S55
NM-B931 REV 1.0 Type 20Q8

I did flash the same file back but now I am getting no display on screen.

I have tried the other method on this model before shorting it out with ground and I am getting the error Bad Sup on that one now.

This is not the Bad Sup file this file was from a good working laptop with password.

I really need some help with this one as now I have a blank screen, Thanks.

otherwise 1.18 if works
need to clean the ec with the utility and reset your numbers
and update bios 1.21 afterwards.

I am new to ITE files and don't think this is something I could edit right now, Is there now other way to get dmi back?.

And yes that is a bit odd that the serial is coming back as a t490 will add picture.
if I am using to much space mods feel free to remove all uploaded pictures and old files by me its fine.

use version 1.15 which corresponds to your current bios.


You must use function 4 to initialize the eeprom if data is already present


After use 1 Set system identification for restore your number
or planar service if available

Hello mate, Where did you get that version of the Maintenance Diskette it seems to have a lot more options than mine.
Would you be able to tell by looking at the files what one has the Bad Sup?
have a few here and have mixed them up, I cant recall what one it was now. I had a few of these boards to do.
I am thinking it was the PF14J38Y one its the only one with no picture with it.

Hello mate, I really have tried every app I can find to edit the data in the PF277S55 first file with no luck
I am using the file suggested PF227S55 unlock try R0ZHT36 1.15.bin.

One of the app I used it tells me the eeprom is write protected. I am not sure what to try next, been on this a wile now lol
I have initialize the eeprom many times and used the planar service too.



I cant thank you enough for your help so far but I am stuck on this one mate.
