https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...40#post3307240 .Make a backup first, copy your DMI from your backup to the new bios using a hex editor with the offsets 1000 - 2FFF

Hello everyone, it may seem like a novice but I can't find the Rom Bios, the one I unsoldered with the data that is silkscreened on the component does not appear any information on the internet and when unsoldering it and placing it in the CH431A or the EZP2019 + it does not detect it at all not even with the 1.8V volt adapter, could you tell me if I am choosing the correct component, I have looked for the Schematic but I can't find it either, it is a JS471 / JS573 Lenovo 15ALC7 Motherboard

When the chip isn`t in the support list choose a different one for example W25Q128JW

The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..

here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHow

                    Hi everyone!

I have Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15ALC7 (NM-E541) with no power, board have only LDO 3V and 5V. No EC_ON_5VALW_R from EC (IT8227VG-256CX). If I erase EC controller firmware then got 1.8V and 5V, after that EC get it's firmware from main BIOS and again "no life" on board. May be anyone can help found out the reason?

                    Main board: NM-E541
                    S/N: PF4RAVW7

Device is out of warranty, because was liquid damaged.

Need to know what is necessary for EC to bring EC_ON_5VALW_R ON

                    main BIOS dump attached.

Try EC firmware extracted from your BIOS, cut to 256KB, as far as I know EC can self program only on Intel models (not on AMD)
Also attached EC firmware extracted from latest BIOS version JTCN60WW

                            Dear all,

I have recently fixed a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 ALC6 that was not booting due to a BIOS issue. After flashing the BIOS, the laptop boots up, but hard disk is not recognized in BIOS. Is says "Hard Disk : Not Installed". I have tried with 2 different drives (one that I know is working on another laptop) but I get the same result. I do not know if disks were recognized before I got the laptop and fix it, but I don't see any reason why not. I can boot on USB though.

Here the steps I have taken to fix the laptop:

So a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.

I found a method to recover the BIOS of many lenovo laptops tha consists in pluging in a USB Flash with the BIOS files and power on the laptop with Fn + R keys pressed until fans go loud and start beeping loud, but nothing worked, so i think filename is wrong, i tried naming the bios file as 07WW.BIN, BIOS.BIN, BIOS.fd,...

                            Hello all,
I have a Lenovo Thinkstation P500 that is stuck at post with no display, it happened after I changed the memory timings in bios. I can not clear CMOS using the jumper on the motherboard, also tried re-flashing bios suing a USB stick but it also doesn't work. The only solution that I can think of right now is re-flashing the bios chip using an external programmer but the problem is that I don't have the bios dump of p500 for flashing externally and I don't know the location of bios chip. If someone can provide the bios dump and bios chip location it would be really helpful....

Request HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 (J06) BIOS dump to restore system firmware
                            by Ahari
                            Hi all,

This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.

I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

                            I...
