Hi forum

lenovo thinkpad X1 yoga, 4th gen- SN PF25B69C
mainboard fx490 nm-b861

I purchased my old work laptop, but it came locked with SUP password which wasn't really a problem until now. I decided to have a go removing it using the autopatch but subsequently find out 32mb BIOS doesn't work and the laptop died. I created 2 images of the old BIOS which were hash checked and tried to put 1 back after failing with the patch file , but I end up with a verification error whilst programming and the flash fails.

I have tried to flash some of the X1 BIOS I have found on this site which do flash over but the laptop remains dead- just the orange power light.

Have I bricked this for good or is there some hope!

Here. With corporate ME FW, same as your backup. If it boots ok run the bios update from lenovo support to update the EC FW.

I tried running this bios once padded but it won't even attempt to turn on
