After almost 10 years of membership and 111 posts this is your best answer ?
      No, no, no...
      The best answer begins with:
"I figure out how to unlock,
      First step...then
      Second step...
      and voila unlocked."

      Sad...

Don't be so sad and instead of accusing me or checking my information, just ask nicely...if you know the word nicely.
At first I only patched the main and it didn't work ...even though my version isn't the latest..so I patched my EC as well.

I noticed there's a lot of unlock request for this model HP EliteBook 640 14 inch G10
The patch won't work if the bios version is latest. use this bin flash both it won't work if you only flash the main you should Flash Both.
first boot press f10 apply factory defaults and restart, 2nd boot reset security settings to defaults and exit.
use BCU and put your original DMI.
                  frequently asked questions:
can i use this to my HP EliteBook 640 14 inch G10- yes

This is only for BID V75 only if you have different BID it won't work.

Re-upload from my old post in this thread.

Thank you very much rex98 for your detailed explanation and for sharing this again.
Unfortunately, the attached file (HP EliteBook 640 14 inch G10 unlocked clean.rar) is not showing up for me or seems to be missing.
If possible, could you please re-upload the file or provide an external link?
That would be very helpful for everyone. Thanks again for your efforts and support!

Thanks a lot for UR help bro, rex98 ! šŸ™
Just tested it on the HP EliteBook 640 14 inch G10 (BID V75) — followed the full process:
                        • Flashed both bins (main + EC)
                        • Applied factory defaults on first boot (F10)
                        • Skipped the "Reset Security Settings" step on second boot — when I tried it, the system wouldn't boot
                        • Used BCU to restore original DMI

                        Everything worked perfectly!
                        šŸ’Æāœ… Confirmed working. Thanks again!

I believe the suggested solution in that post works, but I don't know where the EC chip is located šŸ˜“ Is it on the other side of the motherboard?
                                      My version is V75.

The EC chip is located directly below the Main BIOS chip. I managed to do everything according to the given instructions from the mentioned post. Thanks!

Now I have another problem, which is that I'm getting an 'Intel Thunderbolt Retimer Firmware Update failed' error, and because of that, I can't update the BIOS.
I also noticed that it now takes more time before Windows starts loading. What could be the problem?

The small computer is only booting on a M2 ssd Windows partition and i get a "signed partition error" if i try to boot on the same SSD with another Os (linux for example).

the Computer is a Unowhy small pc

After failling trying to boot on other "none Windows" partition, i wanted to try to remove the bios password.

                                            TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" Bios Password Problem?

                                            Hello,

I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).

But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.

I'm trying to reset my bios without success.

                                            I tried :

-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries...

                                            HP Omen 15-dh0052nf power-on & bios password

Hello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.

My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).

Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set....

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
                                            by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                                            Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.
