Hello, thank you very much. Unfortunately no change, I think, it´s a hardware issue then. But anyway, thank you!!

Hi guys, I have a thinkpad e14 gen2 AMD with a bios password, I tried to patch the bios and was unsuccessful, I read the EC using "SAS" but it is doing a strange reading from the IT8xxx, I'm posting both bkp, if anyone If you can help, thank you in advance.

PS: With the same programmer, I read the EC and unlocked an E14 gen3 NM-C481 minutes before.

Something very strange occurred! I simply tried to read using the previous version 6.8 and updated SAS to use it, it reads correctly, but only 128kb. I returned to the SAS 8.0 version again, and updated the SAS, so it did it without any 256kb errors! See the video.

Hi, I have an E14 Gen 2 AMD with a BIOS password.
                            MTM: 20TA000EGE S/N unit: PF39P83A S/N board: L!HF1A6056Z

I tried to delete the areas starting with 0003D3C0 and 0003EF00 in the EC dump, as I did for an E14 Gen 3 AMD. But here this didn't work.
Would be nice if someone could tell me which areas I need to delete.

try 00 or FF or remod

I don'r know, if someone before me already tried to remove the password. I noticed, that the area starting with 0003D3C0 was somehow cleaned.
Ok, I'll try to write 00 into these two areas.

When writing 00 into these two areas, the laptops says "Bad SVP data, process stopped".

sorry, my fault. I mixed up two laptops.

In the meantime I have found my mistake, a very stupid mistake: when writing 00 in the area starting with 0003EF00, I accidentally had 8 bytes starting with 04 07 in the HexEdit buffer instead of starting with 00 00. Apparently the laptop complained about wrong SVP data.

So the procedure for deleting the password is exactly the same, as for the E14 Gen3 (AMD).
