Do you guys have the U7103 bin? U7201 (TPS65994) TBTA_VBUS20 output is on a loop from 3v - 5v and drops to 0v, I suspect the firmware of the PD chip is corrupted, but here is the backup

Check your CPU , according to the laptop configuration based on the service tag your CPU is an i5-1135G7 Tiger Lake.

Hi guys, having an issue with a 5520 and could do with a little advice.
The BIOS is locked, I've dumped it, unlocked it (with two different software, rex's and the dellbios tool), written the unlocked file to a new chip but the laptop just turns on and power cycles, it will not stay on.
Remove the chip, resolder the original locked BIOS chip and laptop turns on first time...it's just locked, it seems the 8FC8 unlock tools are corrupting the image?Comment

Tried it with both, I'll upload the original locked and rex's unlocked / dellbios tool unlocked for you to have a look at.
I have noticed the rex's tool and dellbiostool both changes the correct values but the dellbios tool unlock has some 00 00 after the unlock whereas rex's doesn't.
I'll get the files uploaded for you to see what I mean, thanks for the advice though I appreciate it.Comment

Have a Dell 5520 that is power cycling every 10 secs or so. Don't know the history as it was bought off a reseller as dead. Does look to be corrupted BIOS, as I get Vcore etc and looping stops if I remove the RAM. Backup attached. It will power on only from battery, not from USB-C (although I'm not using a Dell charger so probably doesn't like my USB supply, typical Dell thing). If someone could give me a clean BIOS for it, it would be appreciated.

Dear Sir,
I need help removing/unlocking the BIOS Service Tag password on my Dell Latitude 5520 laptop.
Problem details:
* Model: Dell Latitude 5520.
* Board ID (from BIOS file): TGL MB 8L 19819-1 (Southpeak15).
* Required Password Code: 3FE2 (BIOS Service Tag Lockout Code).
* Service Tag: (Enter your actual Service Tag from the laptop here)
* BIOS Status: I successfully modded the BIOS file and created FINAL_CLEANED_ME.bin (32MB) with a clean ME region (CSME 15.0), because the original dump was corrupt.... -
Dell latitude 5580, motherboard cdp 80 la-e151p
3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"

I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.

So, i kinda spend significant ammount of the last couple of days trying to flash a new bios, and or unlocking the current bios password with little to no results.
The whole thing started with it being the 8fc8 bios, i found the tools to unlock that but i needed a bios dump. So i pursued that, im at a point where i dessoudered the chip, and succesfully soudered it to the ch341, dumped whatever was on it.
However, the tools supposed to unlock the 8fc8 say that there is no 8fc8 hex inside. And when i followed diffrent tutorials to just flash a new bios onto the chip i got stuck on the... -
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅... -
