Hello, I finally found some time to deal with the laptop I mentioned in post 5. I know it's been awhile.

So, I have this Thinkpad T15 Gen 2 with booting issues. Upon start, the keyboard lights up briefly, the fan spins and the CPU gets really warm but no post. Computer draws close to 1Amp. I suspect corrupted bios.

This model has 2 bios chips located around the memory slot: one below it and one to the right of it.
I am providing both files.

Can someone take a look at both bin files and have them fixed? I do not know which bios chip is needed, so I have included both. Based on posts, perhaps only one of the chips needs to be reflashed.
Please, tell me which one. Thanks.

T14/T15 Gen 2 are notorious because of multiple variations of this motherboard. Most likely the error is generated by the EC chip because it is looking for a particular part# of the webcam+mic strip and it is not a match.

You have 3 choices at this point:

1. Do nothing. The error pops up and when you press Enter, you can continue to Windows.
2. Reprogram the EC chip to match the variant of your motherboard.
3. Order a new webcam+mic strip along with proper ribbon cable (the cable may be optional) to match the variant of your motherboard. This will match the internals and the EC will not post error 2203. If your motherboard came with the serial number still attached to the motherboard (located on the RAM slot), obtain the original webcam+mic strip part number and order one. I believe this should fix your error.
