          Hi. Not with mine or with your laptop does not turn on, but all the voltages are there. I downloaded the bios on another forum with a clean me, the laptop turns on, an image appears and turns off and does not turn on anymore.
          Could you post a clean bios for my laptop model?

                                                                                  I have a Dell XPS-15 (9520) with the LA-L402P motherboard. It seems to have bricked itself after a common BIOS-Firmware upgrade. Now, it just shows BIOS screen for a few seconds before turning-itself back Off (and doesn't seem to be fully Posting). I've done these many times before with no problems.

                                                                                  I was hoping to please have my own-thread to work-through this (hopefully successful) repair as a whole.                                                                                   A client brought me their Dell Inspiron 3471 desktop after they shutdown the computer in the middle of it performing a BIOS update. They somehow believed that the BIOS update process was "fake" and so they shut it down even though the BIOS update flash screen told them DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER. They did it anyway and of course that corrupted the BIOS. The computer still turns on and it does attempt to go through BIOS Recovery, but it fails and loops back to the beginning. All other options to recover also do not work.

                                                                                  Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.

                                                                                  I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop.
