ripped ic is 6pin package with marking

i think it is usb controller or something because it is near every usb 3.0 port

Post a picture of the ic if you can, It could be a SPN7002D or MTDN7002ZHS6R dual mosfet or maybe ADG702dual cmos low voltage spdt switch

I think this is it? 2N7002DW check the circuit to see if it makes sense.
Here is a pdf I found, check page 25, see if this helps?

Re: ripped IC tripping USB OVERCURRENT

You need to trace the ripped trace to the closest component on that line and add a small wire from the new ic's pin to that component. It won't be easy but can be done, there are still a couple traces to secure the ic to the board

                          Mac mini M4 (A3238) Ripped Chip - Schematics+BoardView Needed
                          by ee91137
                          Hi,

I'm looking for assistance with a Mac mini (M4, 2024), model A3238 (Model MCYT4LL/A), which I recently purchased. The front USB-C ports are not providing power.

Upon inspection, I've identified that a chip and an adjacent capacitor have been physically ripped off the logic board near the SSD connector.

Could anyone provide information on the specifications of this missing chip? Additionally, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has access to the schematics and board view for the Mac mini A3238 logic board.

                          Thanks for your help!

MSI H410I PRO WIFI - bios mod, disable overcurrent protection
                          by sant1
                          Hello,

Could someone disable USB over-current protection in this bios? Message is displayed over display-port: "Over Current Have Been Detected On Your USB Device!! System will shutdown after 15 seconds to protect your mainboard!!"

                          Attached dump to this post.

Diagnosed and come to a conclusion that PCH is faulty, there are overcurrent voltage dividers (net names OC#0 to OC#7) on USB power lines, dividers output is nearly 0V, PCH is pulling some of them down. Dividers resistors values are ok and data lines and VCC are not shorted.

                          Thank...

                          Asus X99A/USB 3.1 repair
                          by Bighairyorangutan
                          Hi

I recently acquired a second hand X99A that had been previously working but not switched on for a few years.

When booting it gets stuck with error code b6 - cleanup NVRAM, along with the memory light being on.

I've tried removing the CMOS battery and resetting the clock via the jumpers but only once has it ever done anything different than error code b6.

I've tried stripping the board, using different RAM and PSU. I've pressed the MeemOK button to try have default RAM settings. Only thing I haven't tried is an alternative CPU.
