When I mount the PD27 then I get around 7.5 volt on pin 3 and then i mount PD28 then I get 9.9 volt on Pin 3.

Also is the gate voltage on PQ59 correct ?
        Resistance on PC61?

Since there is no Voltage in BAT+ . I have measured the voltages on the charging IC chip and they are as follows

            PU10 ( ISL88731CHRTZ )

            Pin 2 - 3.54 ( ACIN)
            Pin 3 - 3.16 ( VREF)
            Pin 4 - 0 Volt (ICOMP)
            Pin 6 - 0Volt (VCOMP)
            Pin 8 - 0 Volt (ICM)
            Pin 9 - 3.36 ( SDA)
            Pin 10 - 3.36 (SCL )
            Pin 11 - 3.34 (VDDSMB)
            Pin 13- 3.93 ( ACOK)
            Pin 15 - 0 Volt (VFB)
            Pin 17 - 0 volt
            Pin 18- 0 Volt
            Pin 20 - 0 volt
            Pin 21 - 5.05
            Pin 22 - 18.95
            Pin 23 - 0 Volt
            Pin 24 - 0 Volt
            Pin 25 - 4.95
            Pin 26 - 5.05
            Pin 27 - 19.38
            Pin 28 - 19.38

Is this IC faulty ? Please help.

Now measure the Resistance on the same chip.
Just cook it! It's already broken.

I think @techtiger was typo, what he means of course PD28 pin2

What about the resistance on PD28 pin2?

Thanks for your response . Resistance on PD28 is around 1.8K Ohms
Resistance on PD27 Pin 1 is 170 ohms.

My expextation should be 200K or more on PD28 pin2, ( maybe your lead probe black on point and red probe on gnd, right)

Yes red on ground and black on the test point. Multimeter set at 2K ohms range.

How exactly is the 15V generated . Does this diode internally increase the voltage from 5V to 15V ?

Update : If I set the multimeter range at 20K then I get 5.99 resistance on PD28 Pin 2.

                          Seem fine if ~500K.

What voltages on PQ65 and PQ44?

I think because drop 15V be 10V, the problem had effect to MAIND signal, didn't generated 5V_S5 be 5V and so on.

I reflashed the bios chip with the original file , it still does not start. But I do have 3.3 volt on Pin 8. Earlier it was only 1 volt.

No. I think PM6686 is fine. You didn't answer my question about resitance PD27 on pin2.

Hello to everyone in this wonderful forum.
I have this SONY LCD TV KDL_46R473a
                                            PSU GL5 APS350 :1-888-122- 12
                                            MAINBOARD FY13_EU IP-012C101-4010
black screen ,no STB no life almost death.
on PS all the required volts are present 394V on the main cap and those on cold side 12.41V,3.45 and 3.45 are on
                                            Also 3,5,and 12v are on.
nothing happens if i disconnect the PSU from the mainboard as on Samsung because here i think the mainboard gives the signal to the ps.
don't know what to do next all suggestions and advice are very welcome...

                                            Hi,
My Sony W905 started to turn itself off an on every few minutes and blinking 8 times red in standby. A few minutes later the tv was completely dead.
I can only hear the click of the PSU when attaching/detaching the power cable. No standby LED.

                                            Any advice? Thanks!

                                            Hello again lifesavers.

I have a KDL-55W755c that came in dead - not even standby light going on. Tested the power supply - all correct. Tested the output pins on the Led driver board (in which the power cord plugs in) - all seemed fine.
I got a service manual for this model and tested the DC/DC converter by checking voltages on selected components. Every voltage was present where it should be. Service manual says that in this case a "Muffin" replacement is needed. This is the moment where I got stuck as I wasn't able to Google my way through it - till this day I...
