I'm using MX-2. Not that expensive and works great (unlike the Chinese toothpaste).OpenBoardView — https://github.com/OpenBoardView/OpenBoardView

Re: Recommened good cpu paste cheap
I use both MX-2 and MX-4 here. We use MX-2 in the shop, it is very good, but can be hard to spread in low temperatures. MX-4 is thinner and easier to work with, slightly poorer performance (1-3C difference, not much). For long-term use on high heat processors, MX-4 is better, it keeps its properties as it ages.
I have also used Noctua NT-H1, very good paste but hard to find in large quantity.Originally posted by PeteS in CARemember that by the time consequences of a short-sighted decision are experienced, the idiot who made the bad decision may have already been promoted or moved on to a better job at another company.
