Fujitsu LI3910 DA0EF7MB6D1 fan spins, no image, pls help

    hi ppl

i need a bit of help to figure out this board

its Fujitsu Amilo LI3910 with board DA0EF7MB6D1

i had board which was shorted a played with it and burn it right, no help there but can be used as donor

got me a new board for 7.5 euro but its not working, ofc

laptop turns on, no image on screen, does not respond to caps lock or num lock
tried another cpu, ram, vga out, nother screen.. nothing

then i checked coils, all have voltage, 19v 5v 3.3v
intel gm40 heats a bit but has heatsink but i suspect its ok
tried to reflow a bit with low temp, all same...
i flashed bios from another thread, no change, all same...

since i have donor board with other problem (dead like rock) maybe you could guide me to fix this board or detect problem... please

one more thing, in regular interval (5sec) i hear tik sound and fan spins a bit slower for like 1/4sec... like it rebooting :-/

    also, battery is charging

Did you get voltage on VCC_CORE?
    - Also check signal VR_PWRGD_CK410#, ECPWROK, PM_ICH_PWROK.
    - I didn't know where the pin to check signal for dramrst for DDRII. Mostly Power On Sequence only for DDRIII
    - Try to hear the tik sound at midnight, may be it will be a "clue".
    - If all voltages and signals are present, but No display. If so, then I think is the hardest things on laptop repair (for me ). May be related with SB and NB.
    - Wait for another suggestion from the expert

hello and thank you for response

      on PL12 = VCC_CORE without cpu 1.5v with cpu 1.1v when on
      on U7 0MC74VHC1G pin2 = ECPWROK is 3.3v
      on U7 0MC74VHC1G pin4 = PM_ICH_PWROK 3.3v
      on PU7 ISL6262A pin47 = VR_PWRGD_CK410# 0v

should i replace isl? need to find spare...

CLK_EN# - Digital output for system clock. Goes active 13
clks after Vcore is within 10% of Boot voltage.

Re: Fujitsu LI3910 DA0EF7MB6D1 fan spins, no image, pls help

As mentioned in “Theory of Operation” on page 16,
CLK_EN# is logic level high at start-up until approximately
43µs after the V CC -core is in regulation at the Boot level.
Approximately 43µs after V CC -core are within regulation,
CLK_EN# goes low, triggering an internal timer for the
IMVP6_PWRGD signal. This timer allows IMVP-6_PWRGD
to go high approximately 6.8ms after CLK_EN# goes low
            so this is fine...
i think GL40 is dead cos i have 0v on C1 pin on cpu socket
H_CPURST# should be 1v but for me its 0v

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
              by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

Panasonic TC-P54VT25 No image. A or D board?
              by canadaboy25
I have a Panasonic TC-P54VT25 that will power on and prime the display but there is no image at all.

The panel is primed as there is a slight glow from the entire panel. This means the problem should be logic related. The service manual also confirms this and recommends replacing the A or the D board.

I have tried to get the TV to display the test sequence but I have been unable to and I don't even know if this TV has a test sequence or not. I tried following tom66's instructions in post #3 on this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26790. There was...

Philips 65PUS8518/12 distorted image after main board replacement
              by tuner2000i
              hello everyone,

I don't normally do tv repairs but this is a case with my personal TV which got fried together with many other electronics in my house after a thunderstorm.

The TV is a Philips 65PUS8518/12 which had no power. I measured and concluded that the main board was probably fried through ethernet or hdmi. I found a board with same number 715GD328-M0F-B00-005Y (I had G) but from a 55PUS8518. The TV starts but the image is doubled, distorted. I need to set the panel code which is 016 according to the sticker on the back but I can not seem to do it.

I don't have another edp cable, but i measured it with meter and it comes out good...i am baffled......
