Hi again folks, how easy is it to replace a smart phone screen, and camera glass bit.
Is it easy to repair.
Also what do you use on a LAPTOP cpu, not thermal paste, where do you get it from the UK.

Please be note: All the item will be tested 100% working fine before dispatched. before buy this item please make sure you are a special repair technician.
Change this Part is not an easy job.
the item (especial the flex ribbon is easy fracture) is easy to damaged during the fitting. please test the item first before glue it into your phone or frame.
just connect the flex ribbon to mainboard connector. after test the item working fine and then fitting into your phone.
we will not respond any faulty or damaged after the assembly fitting or glue into your devices.
What I never done this before, the phone has a charging problem now!

I have two TCL A30 phones.
Old Phone: This phone worked fine for years, then stopped charging If you plugged a charger into it, the phone would make the charging sound, the phone would tell you it is charging, but the battery icon would not have the charging symbol in it and the battery would not charge.I tried new battery, same behavior.
New Phone: Works fine, bought as a donor board to try and repair Old Phone
My interest here is to repair Old Phone, using components parts off New Phone if needed. I am not interested in replacing Old Phone with New Phone.... -
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
I replaced the screen and LCD ribbon in Redmi Book 15 Pro Ryzen 2023. After replacing, the image on the screen is only visible in Windows 11 - when the AMD drivers are loaded.
The screen is backlit but there is no image in: bios, post, when loading windows, in linux (ubuntu boot from usb), windows 10 PE.
When I disconnect the EDP connector from the board and connect the HDMI cable, the image is visible everywhere good, in the BIOS you can see 2/3 of the image, i.e. 1920 pixels out of 3000 pixels.
I checked the EDID with the old screen - it is identical.

Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".
It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...07-31-2025, 08:37 PM -
Hello friends,
Last week when I tryed to start my CF53-MK2 it just stop starting
and when it starts it displays snow and dansing and coloured lines on the sreeen as you can see in the attached video.
Some time it may show the startup Bios screen for a 3 to 10 seconds and then immediatly starts to disply snow and coloured lines.
I tested the RAM it is correct.
I tried to hook the machine on a HDMI screen, nothing.
I am not sure that the computer goes far to be able to show anything on an additional monitor.
