I replaced the screen and LCD ribbon in Redmi Book 15 Pro Ryzen 2023. After replacing, the image on the screen is only visible in Windows 11 - when the AMD drivers are loaded.
The screen is backlit but there is no image in: bios, post, when loading windows, in linux (ubuntu boot from usb), windows 10 PE.
When I disconnect the EDP connector from the board and connect the HDMI cable, the image is visible everywhere good, in the BIOS you can see 2/3 of the image, i.e. 1920 pixels out of 3000 pixels.
I checked the EDID with the old screen - it is identical.
What could be the reason for this display? Incompatibility between LCD screen and board? bad lcd ribbon?
Is it possible to edit something in the BIOS, e.g. resolution?
Bios is insyde, it can be edited - Insyde H2oeze.
Sorry if the post is off topic.
