    Macbook Pro A1278 820-3115-B

I have a macbook pro with a bad logic board. Trying to isolate the issues. The macbook starts right away if I plug it in, and stays on (wont shut off with power button). The battery does charge and if I unplug the macbook it will stay on battery power.

Also, the bottom ram slot is giving me the three beep error, though right now this is secondary to the power issue.

Any ideas on where to look?

Well. Looks like it was the keyboard. Im now looking into ram slot issue. One slots still usable but would be nice to have two!

put a 1mm or 1.5mm (dont remember wich one i used, but do some try and find out with one is ok )thermalpad on right side of ram and then install the ram. it should fix that issue.
alternatively, you have to remove the mainboard and see why it is a bit bent (that cause ram slot problem)

            hope it helps
