    lenovo v460 no power

    today get this one with complete dead condition.3v present on power switch and also on small 128kb chip. when connect with dc power supply the standby current is 0.03a...................any ideas or schematic

      its 5v present? try to re-flash the bios first

        see if something is getting hot somewhere, standby current is mostly around 0.01 - check around power and charging ic maybe a capacitor or diode is leaking?

          i do not have the files to flash bios. one chip is 128kb and one is 4mb....

            Check this and post results. The 128KB chips is the one I´d program first.

              last time i try to find out why it did not power up i ended up reflowing and it when back to normal.
              Just cook it! It's already broken.

                                dead board same model . no power at any coils no 3.3 or 5 volt switch has power .
                                some power at ec bios pin no 1.
                                changed tps51123.
                                u2 SMSC EMC2103 had a HOLE or pop
