I looked at the datasheets and they seem 98% the same... but I noticed a few things like:

RT8206L\M has "4700ppm/°C RDS(ON) Current Sensing" which the A\B does not seem to... (not sure how much that matters)

The A\B have "Internal Soft-Start with 5 Steps Current Limiting and
Soft-Discharge" while the L\M has a 1-step linear ramp up (See Power On in Short Circuit graphs in datasheets)

Also, L\M have internal Under-Voltage 0.55 x VREF while in A\B it is 0.7 x VREF

I also saw some slightly higher switching frequency on some graphs (extra 50kHz for L\M)

So while everything else is very similar, I don't know what (if any) problems these minor differences may cause in some circumstances.

Personally, without knowing the exact nature of the circuit the part was used, I would use only the same type as originally used in the circuit.
It comes down to "try it and see what happens" or stay safe and use what was already there and which you know will work. Do you really want to solder a tiny QFN twice because you got the wrong variant chip?

Since both models are in active production it should not be an issue to get whichever you need.

Looking for an equivalent for the Mosfet FDC655BN in order to find it from an old board
Via Google I found SST6N3LLH6 and NTGS4141NT1G but no luck.

Anybody know a solution? I read on this forum, that you can use any Mosfet with the same specs.

Are you sure? I buy from the New Zealand version (nz.element14.com) and they sell to individuals. I was supposed to enter a company name when signing up, but I just used my name and have had no problems ordering from them for years.

You might also try http://www.rs-components.com/index.html and select the site for your country.

Otherwise, try eBay.

EDIT: Just checked, seems they say "If you are an individual consumer, you should keep in mind that there is a minimum order value of € 50 applies to orders placed over the Internet."
That sucks for you.. in NZ here it's only $10 minimum and $45 for free shipping.

Today i have replaced intel gm45 chipset with gl40 on lenovo g550...Laptop did not have video...Now works ok...

bicalov , put the mosfet name on google , chek if its N or P channel , or DUAL P or N

then , replace with a similar , if its for main b+ line , 8884 - 4800b for ex can be used , if its a N channel for ex.
