Do you understand that the outer + strips are likely not connected in the PCB?
This will cause no power to get from the Vcore regulator to the CPU.
Take some continuity measurements to confirm.

                    yes you can replace it.
we need to know what is it. changing that mosfet soic8 it takes about 1 min to change after you found out what is that and what you need to put back.
Just cook it! It's already broken.

I think, it is 8(4+4) terminals IC which is shown in given pic near the batry.and

That part contains two MOSFETs used in a Buck converter for battery charging. Why do you think it is faulty?

The capacitors AND the links need to be fitted at the same time.
The Vcore voltage needs to get to the CPU.
Are you too young to understand this?
It is likely that you have caused extra damage by now.

I saw smoke from this when i supplied power and checking differend devices on motherbord by connecting their lines. When i connectio two sides of a capacitor which is shown in pic near mosfet, i saw smoke and smell.

If the MOSFET is really only for charging. It might be ok just to remove it for now until you fix the other problems. The part near the MOSFET marked with "T" is a fuse.

Yes. You should never replace nec/tokin capacitor with same, the laptop will fail again as the nec/tokin parts have short life times and are especially affected by heat (such as soldering).

I do not agree. I always replace with Tokin again and never had problem. You have to be carefull when soldering the Tokin not to damage it.

i was use my reballing station to remove the chip and because want come off easily i am afraid that overhead the whole area, also i find that to remove easy the chip must put also a bit of solder.
After remove the tokin i place the new one and heat it about 5-6 sec

You don't mind destroying the old Tokin on removal. Before you solder the new one, remove the unleaded tin from the pads, apply leaded tin, bring your board to 190 degrees with the preheater and you are done.

This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...

                                            Hi All,

So my friend was visiting and he wanted to use my solder bench to solder on some WLED circuit board. My laptop was open on the side for RAM upgrade. I know my mistake.

So while soldering he had too much solder on the soldering iron tip and he just shook off the soldering iron on the table itself to remove extra solder on the soldering tip and it landed on the motherboard of laptop. He then out of fear tried to remove it using solder wick and did more damage by removing some components as well. So here I am with weird situation.

                                            I have not tried putting...

I was trying to fix my old laptop that has stopped displaying image a long time ago. It boots up, lights light up, fan spins but no image. Conned it to TV by HDMI cable, but it was unsuccessful. Components look intact, no water damage/corrosion on the board.

I don't really value this laptop too much, so I wanted to ask anyone for a schematic/boardview file or anything that describes motherboard in a simillar faison. I want to experience a challenge of figuring...
