MacBook Pro 13" power problem (late 2011)

Recently my MBP stopped charging, it was still running so I tried my dads charger that works, didn't work for me. I tried a smc reset and still it didn't work.
I have salvaged and fixed 18 TVs (1 DLP), 22 LCD monitors, 8 stereos, network stuff, and more laptops and computers than i can count.

I have the same problem with my MBP 2011. I have tested the fuses and stuff on the logic board with a multi-meter and I get 16v at the battery plug so I am not sure why the battery isn't getting charged. I have tied all the resets and normal fixes and nothing has worked so far. The computer boots up fine if I charge the battery in a deferent macbook and then put it back into this one.

The unit was water damaged when I bought it so there has to be a bad cap or a fuse or something on the board somewhere.

Does anyone know where to find a schematic for th charging circuit? I know apple tries their hardest to hide these but I am hoping to find someone that has made a generic one to show other people where the power flows.

Thanks in advance for anyones help.

I fixed my problem, you need to get a charging circuit for the model of your MacBook, about $10-$20 on eBay only.

Ok so I found the charging IC circuit you were referring to.

        http://www.ebay.com/itm/1x-NEW-ISL62...item35b6b9bde0

I did some testing with my multi-meter around th chip and in 3 spots I get the full 16v reading. But on the other side of the IC circuit I only get 3 to 5v reading and in 2 other spots I get 12v. This is a water damage unit should I try to reflow the chip before I order a new one. Maybe a few solder joints are cold and that is what is causing the lack of conductivity. Tell me what you think before I go ahead and give it a try. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I can't find a good schematic to go off for proper readings.

          Wouldn't hurt to try

should I just reflow that or are there adjacent items I should include?

you need to take it down and replace the solder
Just cook it! It's already broken.
