I want to start a local 5 mile radius analog tv station, i have a home made J-Pole antenna, power amp, and soon ill build the transmitter. My question is how legal is it, how likely will i get caught, and what is the penalty(s). I havent been able to find much on the topic and im going off the fact the FCC has abandoned analog TV transmissions and moved to DTV. Sony Bravia kdl40v2500 problem
I have a Sony Bravia kdl-40v2500 and i'm not sure if its a TCON or LCD panel tab problem. When the TV is turned on after awhile of being off the screen is filled with orange reddish bars and lines that move with the image after 2-10 minutes of being on the image comes in but a bar in the bottom left corner remains. Images that move within the bar are slowed or ghosted and have an off color. Is this a TCON problem or a LCD panel tab problem?... -

Server 2008 R2 question
I have a poweredge running Server 2008 R2 Datacenter. At my school we have terrible servers from the 90's and early 2000's but we have i5 laptops (not a good mix) everything is slow on any computer so this is where my question goes. At the schools login screen when prompted to enter your user and password there is an option to change the logon domain by typing (server address)\user. I can remote desktop to my server once logged on but i cant directly logon to my server at welcome splash. So how to i set my server up to do this. -

I know this is possible and i could figure it out if i tried but id rather have some insight first. My school and library both have fast PCs and Macs but the login servers and file servers they connect to run on a pentium 3 so logging in, accessing, and moving files is 90's slow. I have a dual quad-core 2.3 GHz no-name brand server that runs server 2003 and i want to be able to login to it and access files remotely at school and at the library. All computers have an option to switch login domain at login splash screen. Id have about 1-10 people accessing it.

Samsung HLR4667
I found this TV at the dump and fixed it up last year, it has a bulb from a samsung tv made a year before it. The bulb is 10 years old and is still working but my picture gets dimmer every month and is now only viewable in almost darkness. I could get a cheap $30 bulb that has 2,000 hours on it or $60 for a 8,000 hour bulb but thats a lot for nothing. LEDs basically last for ever so is it possible to use a LED in this DLP if so what kind and how much. -

In November I found a 46" slim samsung smart tv at my recycle center. The tv works perfect but in the bin at the place a large CRT tv was places on top of the tv and broke the stand off and cracked the top of the lcd causing a bar on the top left, still viewable just annoying to have a 4 X 12 inch bar in the way. I looked up on samsungs website and i created a servicing ticket and also found out online that a full warrenty + labor cost warrenty is in effect until 10/12/14, and it was manufactured in 2009 so thats amazing. My question is if i call samsung saying it was "a gift" from... -
