Download memtest, burn to disc and boot it up, run it for a while and see if you get any errors.
If not it still may be over heating.
Does the fan come on at full speed?Do NOT touch heatsinks when testing for voltages as they may be LIVE!Comment

since you've isolated you HDD already, it is time for the RAM. try memtest.
Virus and malware may also cause this issue so your antivirus, malwarebytes and ccleaner may help you in that area.Comment

I have acer laptop tmx314-51 with part no 6050A3020501.
The laptop is working fine on adapter and battery is also charging and when adapter is disconnected in on state the laptop gives backup on battery and gives good backup.
But when laptop is powered on through battery only the laptop does not power on and there is 0 voltage on battery connector.
I have not not tried another battery as it is not available locally could this be a battery problem.have checked discharging mosfet and there is no shorting to ground on any pin of battery connector.
