A2338 820-02020 Backlight is on, no image after liquid spill

Laptop boots but there is no video, backlight is on after the liquid spill. I can hook up the laptop to a TV and the image is fine there.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Could it be a dead screen? Most of the liquid spill is concentrated around system fan connector.

I do not have access to the schematics right now as I am overseas but check for the presence of a mux (multiplexer) which will steer the video to internal or external sinks. Also confirm the lid sensor operation which may be directing the video. Check the mux direction pin voltage to ground as well as the enable pin.

PP5V_SW_LCD=5V

LID OPEN is @ 1.8V

Is there a fuse I can check, perhaps? I do get backlight, no video.

If the backlight is enabled, this at least means there is communication with the display. Likely a bad screen.
