Thank you for your response.
It is U5700 on the schematic, the board is 820-02020-a.
I have went as far as to remove the chip entirely and reseat with a river of flux, still no go. Also reflowed the areas around it on that side and directly under on the ...

a2338 2020 Macbook Pro liquid damaged won't turn on- weird issue
Hi,
I am trying to fix this liquid damaged 2020 Macbook pro and I noticed something weird.
When I push on/around the renesas 501cr0b IC, which appears to be a clock generator/ multiplier, If I apply lot of pressure, the device will reach 19.9 volts and seems to be trying to work.
I have thoroughly reflowed that area and completely removed that chip (there was some liquid stain in that area) but no help. I have just 5v 0a unless I apply the pressure.
Your help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

I really appreciate your response. I did try to fully drain the system by taking the battery off for a couple hours more than once prior. And tried swapping memory. Strangely enough, there were some other people online with similar models of a similar age that had the same issue(hoping it is not a dead GPU/chipset). Do you have any suggestions for someone who would take a more in depth look at it?
Thanks...

Laptop dead after replacing BIOS Chip
Hi all,
I have an ASUS ROG Strix G533z 12th gen i9 laptop that had no video.
I suspected BIOS corruption, so I took the main BIOS chip off and replaced it with another one that had a clean BIN I bought online.
After doing so, the device is stone dead. Even with the original chip fitted back.
I sent it to Northridge Fix (I am based in US) and he said no activity on thermal cam and no power issue is not directly firmware related.
Can anyone help? I'd love to save this fairly new and powerful laptop.
Thank you!

Re: MSI Raider GE66 Short/ no power - weird issues please help
So I found a mosfet by the battery connector that is shorted I believe, when removed it restores 20v to the board. I am assuming that one of the two big power supplies next to it may be to blame? A little stuck right now....

MSI Raider GE66 Short/ no power - weird issues please help
Hi, I have a MSI Raider GE66 i7-10750h, Rtx2070 Super
It will not turn on.
Found IC TI 1225C getting hot on back of MB.
Replaced said IC. Plugged laptop in and heard a pop/smell burned smell. Inspected and I see NOTHING physically burned or damaged including the IC. Now on the power supply i have about .5 volts compared to 20v before.
I am lost at what to do now, your input is greatly appreciated. I spent a fair bit on this one in hopes it's fixable.
Thanks for your time.

Elitebook 1050 G1 BIOS Issues
I backed up the main bios from my 1050 G1 with CH341 clip and i believe it's damaged. I was just trying to remove password from BIOS. Now every time I try a file it just blinks caps lock and power button LED
If someone can try to clean the crashed BIN I will be forever grateful.
Thanks so much
