    ITE8987E not work

    Change the EC ITE8987E because it doesn't turn on when it receives the ignition signal, the 3.3V power line is ok. there was a 30 ohm resistor. When removing the ITE8987E the resistance increased to more than 5K ohm. I changed the EC for the same ITE8787E-BXA, the resistance is not low, however it does not turn on or there is communication with the EC BIOS 25X40, neither is the clock.

    Is it possible that it requires recording with a programmer like svod3 or something similar for the EC to work?

    I also programmed the EC bios 25x40 with a file that was sent to me over the internet but it still doesn't respond to the ignition command.

    The motherboard is EM_A8316C_272B_V1.0

          Hello, no, I returned the laptop to the client a long time ago. It is difficult since there is no schematic diagram of that type of tablet-pc

              Hi guys, i was wondering, i've got 9Ohms on Vmem, one of the mosfet was shortet to ground, so i've desoldered hi and low mosfets nad still low res, then i removed all of the memory chips, and the resistance is still low, so did you had maybe a card with that low res on memories, and the card was working fine ?
              Removed the U1866Q and still without result, i dont have thermal cam so can't see where is hot spot when incjeting voltage.
              The resistance on core is ok 0.1Ohm ((Power 0.8V when on)
              Resistance on 12V 4K ohms (Power present when on)
              Resistance on 12V PEX 4K ohms...

              Hello, I have an "ASUS ROG Strix G713QR" laptop, and for approx. 3 months I have the following problems:

              1. Laptop keyboard doesn't work
              2. The backlight on the laptop keyboard doesn't work
              3. The x2 side LEDs (red) on the laptop don't work

              The power button works, the touchpad works, and all the USB, HDMI, Ethernet, etc. ports work.

              I already tried to reinstall all the drivers and reinstall Windows. So I don't know what to try anymore that is software-related.

              But I am strongly aiming that it is somehow a BIOS-related problem,...

              hello everyone, I have a particular problem with this lenovo ideapad 330s-15ikb. I had to replace the motherboard due to liquid damage, after replacing it I noticed that some letters on the keyboard do not work. So I bought a new keyboard and now all the keys work except the numeric keypad area. In practice the num lock key LED always remains on and the numbers do not work. Has anything like this ever happened to you? I also tried changing the keyboard again but the same defect remains on the numeric keypad.

              I just bought a used one for a decent price for a used device it prints very nicely and clean and clearly so I am not going to complain about it but I would like to get it working again anyone have any suggestions on how to repair this back light

              If I can not get the controller to work properly then I will probably have an external power supply for the backlight because it is difficult to see the screen without out it

              One —>the LEDs might be bad
              Two —> the buck converter or regular might be bad
              Three —> the controller might not...
