I've seen something similar on another Lenovo and it needed the Intel chipset drivers installed first. Try using ext mouse/kbd to do that, or try using the Lenovo recovery image for that model (which installs the drivers automatically).

I tried by installing chipset drivers but no luck.

Are there any yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager? Have you tried the Lenovo recovery image for this model?

Re: yoga 9 14ITL5 - Keyboard and TP working in BIOS but not in Windows

I have experienced a similar issue with an HP 2-in-1 laptop recently. Both keyboard and the touchpad work in BIOS but stop working in Windows. I believe the issue is with the sensor that thinks computer is in tablet mode all the time, hence it disables the keyboard and the touchpad. The motherboard definitely has a problem but I found the workaround. Go to Device Manager and under System Device locate something that says Intel Sensor. Disable it, then reboot the machine. Then go to the BIOS and choose to restore to factory settings. Save and reboot. You should now get the keyboard and the touchpad functionalities back, You will lose ability to rotate the screen because of the disabled sensor but it's a small price to pay for a working computer.

Let me know if this helped you.

                      Hello,

I have a Lenovo Yoga C630-13Q50 Windows on Snapdragon laptop that I bought used here in Japan. They only sell the 4GB RAM version here in Japan so I decided to purchase an 8GB motherboard off of Aliexpress. The motherboard works without issue but Product ID, MTM, and Lenovo SN entries in the BIOS are INVALID.

I would like to input the values from the old motherboard. After searching the internet I learned about LVAR and have tried to use it to input the values but I get the following error.

I have tried placing the LVAR folder on C drive and Desktop...

Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 3 ,How to know if the BIOS is corrupted
                      by Loki_Fido
Hi everyone, hope everyone's having a great day.

                      I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 3 for repair. (20LES3T900)
I looked in every corner and the laptop seems fine. Its pulling 500mA but no display, no noise, nothing.

So I assume its a BIOS issue. I downloaded the BIOS with CH341A and opened it on ME Analyser and didn't receive any errors.
Does this mean the BIOS is fine? making it a hardware issue?

I downloaded fresh BIIOS from the Lenovo site and used Hex Editor replace the Lenovo's BIOS into my BIOS region. But the file size ended up being...
