So do I need to replace TC1410 now?

The Gate drive stuck high so the MOSFET is fully on when you shorted out the Gate drive IC TC1410, do not run it or you burn out the motor.
So it proves that the drive circuit is OK, you just do not have the drive signal to drive the MOSFET.

Selldoor in post #145 said it was so that's what I got. However I have a new problem now. I was testing to make sure I still had the voltage from that small 8 pin mosfet and I must have shorted it or something because all of a sudden the treadmill motor just started at full speed. Now it won't shut off except by turning power off, even when pulling out the safety switch.

So the old two black resistors are both 1000 Ohms for sure?
"Ok I just got the 2 large resistors, got 10w 1000ohm ceramic. Maybe not large enough cause they measure .831 and the original measure 1.442 in diode mode" You are measuring the resistors in Diode mode?

Ok I just got the 2 large resistors, got 10w 1000ohm ceramic. Maybe not large enough cause they measure .831 and the original measure 1.442 in diode mode. I also replaced D10 and now it measures .609 but if I reverse the leads it measures 1.031. Motor still won't turn on.

On my way to store to get that diode and the 2 large wound resistors.

Looks like it's 1n4148 diode. I hooked it up to a 9v battery and got nothing so I guess it's shorted.

I removed D10 and it still shows continuity and reads .5 ohms.

It looks like generic diode 1N4XXX series, remove and test it off the board.

Here is another picture of where D10 goes. Not that great but I don't have color printer.

No that was in response to your question possible shadowing or burn mark on the orange resistor.

Re: Help with Motor Control Board

By looking at the board the only thing it is connected to is the zener in DZ1 and the one leg of the relay switch.

Here is the picture, located on the bottom corner near where I had the bad zeners.

This is the bottom of the board.

So we do have power to run this MOSFET driver IC.
D10: There may be another component connected in parallel with D10, you need to lift one leg or remove it off the board for proper test. Pictures and location on the board?

I also just tested the diodes D9 D10 D14 D15 D16 which all look like they are identical. I get 0 reading in all but D10 which gives me an .5 ohm reading and it has continuity where the others don't. Does that sound right?

It looks like D10 connect to DZ1 and then to the relay.

Ok the zener and that mossfet both tested at 12.1VDC

No that is maybe a little shadowing but more of one of the solder joints to that resistor. I'll reassemble the board again and test that Zener.

There is Zener diode connected to VDD pin and Ground of that MOSFET driver IC, check to see what DC Voltage you get, again this hot circuit so do not touch anything with your hands or body.

Is that your board in the picture? -if yes does the 3 leg capacitor have a brown
mark (burn) or is it just shadow?

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

    Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

LG 60PK550 Logic Control Board EBR63450301
    by Yanleb
Hi all, I just want to share the repair of my 60PK550-UA TV set.

The TV set was powering on, just no image. After verification, nothing wrong on the YSus or ZSus boards. Nothing wrong on the main board either.

But I noticed that the LED was not flashing on the Logic Control Board. This is an EBR63450301. The LED is supposed to flash even with all the flat cables disconnected, with only the power cable attached.

All the voltages measured at the electrolytic capacitors on the board were good. From top left to bottom right:
    C57: 3.30V

    Motor control board repair
    by cyclones
I have a motor control board I am trying to repair. I've been told the motor is fine, but the control board will only make the motor go one direction but not the other. Power comes in through a linear transformer and then a rectifier bridge and then filter caps. No schematics for the board. Relays on the board are 24V so I started by setting my bench PSU to 24V and injecting voltage. There are several LEDs. All but one LED lights up. There are test points labelled +15V, 0V and -15V. When checking voltage potential between +15V and 0V, I get a perfect 15V. For -15V to 0V, my meter shows approximately...
