ASUS UEFI bios find MAC Address, UUID and MB/SN

    mobo: ASUS H110M-K

How to find MAC ADDRESS, UUID and MB/SN from previous dump of this mobo's bios?
I am guessing I need to add those in the new bin file.
also where can I find those on the physical motherboard(no box)
    Bios dump is added.

Look for a soft called FD44Editor, u can read and and enter these data with it manually. MAC is mandatory, other data not necessarilly.

I tried the software to read the dump file. but I can not find any UUID or mac or any data showing in the software. May be I have to manually add them to make new bin and flash it?
Picture attached: tried to read old bios dump.

and bios bin file is attached using external link:*************************

now I will have to manually enter uuid from the mobo box?

            hi,
I have an Asus H110M - K (rev 1.02) motherboard got from my friend. problem is someone flashed a stock bios downloaded from asus website. So even I have dumped the flashed bios in it, I can get no info like ME, mac, uuid etc..... After reading countless posts and guides I have learnt that I need them an im novice Hence posting here.
Here is the dumped bios attached.
So can anyone give me a proper bios for this motherboard ?
And photos of the motherboard attached too it has some numbers, dont know what is what .

If so this means that u have already a stock bios programmed on the board and the data is lost. U can try to program the missing data to a stock image with FD44, the data is usually to be found on stickers on the board or on the motherboard case. However sometimes a board will not work with a stock bios due to some checks in the bios and different Management Engine programmed into the chipset. Try then to load the first stock bios available on asus site, if u see that the board is starting and updating the Management Engine u may have luck. Check if your cpu is supported by the first bios. But unfortunately this not always works as asus not always publishes the real first stock bios on the support site. The real first bios for asus boards is some kind post production bios, which has the capability to bind the bios with the board and load the Management Engine into the chipset. This works only for asus.

If you can boot the board you can use also a program called DMI Edit Insyde:

                https://download.schenker-tech.de/pa...it-efi-insyde/

It works directly on the board BIOS, and you can alter all DMI data dynamically. There is a GUI version with limited functionality, but you can use it best by command line directives and batch procedures to backup/view/alter any DMI data. For dumping and programming the bios under Windows you can used also an Intel tool called FPTW64.exe, it's part of the Intel CSME System Tools. You can download it here:

                https://www.station-drivers.com/inde...es/lang,en-gb/

                or here:

                https://xeon-e5450.ru/soft/intel-me-system-tools/

You must use a specific FPTW64.exe version for the given chipset generation.

Note that FPTW64 when writing bios to chip does not make an bios upgrade, but it overwrites the existing bios.

With the CSME Tools you can do a lot more, but this is not an easy to use software.

FPTW64 is much easier to use than CH341 and it's reliable, as far as you can boot the board to windows. And it works for all vendors of mobo's.

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

                  ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
                  by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                  Some issues
                  A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                  Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...
