Re: PC Win 10 random freezes help
Yes, problems with the Intel Management Engine Interface driver can cause the system to freeze. You could try the following things:
- Check Windows Update, maybe there is an (optional) update available for this specific driver
- Check for a BIOS update for your motherboard
- If there are no updates available at all, you could try to remove and reinstall the driver or even disable it and see if this solves the problem (Device Manager->System Devices->Intel Management Engine Interface).Comment

Re: PC Win 10 random freezes help
Of the few Win 10 installations I encounter on hard drives, they are slow with occasional freezing.
Original factory install of Windows?
Whilst not impossible it's highly unlikely to be the Intel ME causing issues. The logs are always full of errors.Comment

Re: PC Win 10 random freezes help
Hi Diif; I did not reinstall win 10 ,i said that the advice given to me to uninstall Management Engine in device manager saved me the grief of reinstall Win 10 and other works again and that would not solve the issue. ,so the uninstall of Management Engine in device manager solved the freezing issue.Comment

by 1centchipsI have the i9 version. I have tried disabling intel and Nvidia graphics in the device manager.
The laptop is just out of warranty.
The laptop continues to freeze randomly with the blinking amber charging light.
What could be possibly wrong with it?
I have also disable armoury crate in bios. -

Hi to all. I have a Asus laptop X541UVK Rev 2.0 that sometimes gives no video, sometimes will shutdown randomly, sometimes goes to black screen after being working fine at random times.
I say "sometimes" because it was working fine for 24hs, then it starts to do the same weird stuff.
I did thermal paste replaced (it was FULL of dirty inside the heatsink and cooler), RAM checked and it's OK, HDD replaced and the same.
Last time i run a stress test for 15min and the temp did not exceed 49 celsius. It is a Intel i3 7t generation. RAM tests gives... -
by hinisaI'm using Xiaomi Router 4A gigabit edition as wireless repeater. It worked fine for 2 years or so, but last week, wireless started to disappear.
When I unplug/replug the power, it was working fine for a day/half a day or so until it freezes again.
After testing with different power supply adapters and concluding it wasn't the issue I finally opened the case and this was the situation:
Anyway I proceed to clean up the mess and replace all caps but unfortunately it made the situation worse. Now router can't even boot, either it freezes during...-

by ProsatanoszHi!
Asus B85M-GAMER absolute no hdmi output (not at start, not at Windows), and random restarts. Everything work, except hdmi and random restarts after 0.1-3 min. Restarts even in bios. On VGA Windows boots up fast, games and apps starts ok. Mem, psu, cpu changed, no luck. I need shematic, because i think the restarts caused by the hdmi failure. - Loading...
