Asus rog strix g1614jv-Is96 freezes at random times and blinking charging light

I have the i9 version. I have tried disabling intel and Nvidia graphics in the device manager.
The laptop is just out of warranty.
The laptop continues to freeze randomly with the blinking amber charging light.
What could be possibly wrong with it?
I have also disable armoury crate in bios.

Test with a known good battery. They battery itself may be ample to stabilize this fault. The charging light flash means the battery is not being charged. The battery itself may be defective and is a common event after a period of time of charging / discharging cycles. Work with a vendor who will take the battery back if you decide to not keep it. Amazon?

Thank you for your precious time and insight! The laptop exhibits same behavior when fully charged/ plugged in an outlet..

Are you powering this beast with the Asus official 240W/280W power adapter?

        Test this suggestion:

Yes, 280W that came with the laptop. The other thing I noticed was the laptop freezes way faster when Nvidia rtx 4060 is enabled (intel uhd disabled). Runs longer but eventually freezes with intel in use (rtx 4060 disabled).

Heating issue? Have good thermal paste on the GPU and CPU? Perhaps the original is caked up and is dry?

It's under extended warranty via third party. Was hesitant to remove the warranty void stickers all over the battery and heat sink LOL

In the bios utility the cpu is at 95 celcius.

If it is under extended warranty, stop experimenting and log a call with the service provider. Will save a lot of money and time with zero headache.

I was trying to learn . But I understand the warranty part.

DELL Latitude 5500 - random freezes - no bs - no reboot
                          by DriversScrew
I've got a DELL Latitude 5500 that shows random freezes. Mainly in low load / idle situations. The picture freezes, mouse doesn't do anything. No reboot, no bluescreen.
Only hard switching off by power button is possible. Nothing in event log.
Tried with a fresh Win11 installation and with Debian 13. Both the same.

The built in pre boot diagnostics show no problems or errors. Checked the ram slots for bad solder joints (all solid) and changed the modules without effect.

As last chance maybe I change the m.2 drive (built in WD SN520) to a different model....

                          Hi,
My laptop recently started freezing randomly - it usually freezes after a few minutes, sometimes after 2, other times 10 minutes.
So far I kind of ruled out software problems, as the problem persists on live booted Linux, installed Windows and also while installing Windows. My first thought was that it was overheating, so I checked the temps and they are fine, as You can see on the screenshot, never the less I opened it up and reapplied LM on both cores, also using some more thermal putty on the VRM, obviously didn't help.

While live booting Linux it usually freezes...

Elevated Runway Guard Light repair / not blinking one light

Boys and gals! I've got a new interesting victim.
ADB L-804 Elevated Runway Guard Light.
Symptom: One LED blinks as it should, but the other is on all the time, not alternately blinking to the other one.

Called ADB. Proprietary schematics. Buy a new board for a lot of money. Me: Really? Let's see about that first!

These big LED lights are switched on and off using a P Channel MOSFET IRFI9640G as a switch. So one MOSFET is stuck on. Has to be either the gate of the MOSFET or the gate drive. The 2 big IRFI9640G Mosfets are ok, but if I measure around...
