Hi everybody, I have a dell xps 9310
Serial tag: 92mzxd3
EX: 19750601127
Initially came in with amber light turning on only when the power button was pressed. I saved the corrupted bios and used one from this website. It worked for a day and now same issue. Amber light on power button press. Can someone help me? I have attached the first backup bin file i made....Leave a comment:

Dell latitude 7400 p110g start issue
Customer's dell laptop is very picky when it comes to turning on. Most of the time when the power button is pressed, amber light comes on. Feel like the power button was meant to turn the amber light and not the laptop LOL. Any advice where I should start? Motherboard? Rumor has it a defective battery can destroy the motherboard circuit. -

It's under extended warranty via third party. Was hesitant to remove the warranty void stickers all over the battery and heat sink LOL...Leave a comment:

Yes, 280W that came with the laptop. The other thing I noticed was the laptop freezes way faster when Nvidia rtx 4060 is enabled (intel uhd disabled). Runs longer but eventually freezes with intel in use (rtx 4060 disabled).Leave a comment:

Asus rog strix g1614jv-Is96 freezes at random times and blinking charging light
I have the i9 version. I have tried disabling intel and Nvidia graphics in the device manager.
The laptop is just out of warranty.
The laptop continues to freeze randomly with the blinking amber charging light.
What could be possibly wrong with it?
I have also disable armoury crate in bios. -
A2485 no image and no backlight after chip transplant on new screen.
Removed the two chips from the broken lcd at 350C and 40 air by properly protecting rest of the area with copper and kapton tape.
Did the same with the new replacement panel.
Reballed the pulled chips and installed on the new lcd panel at 250C and 40 air
I have done few ones before without issue.
The new panel was working before I transplanted the chips. Now the computer turns on and boots but no image/ backlight.(
Anybody face this issue before? -

Hi I am trying to troubleshoot an Asus laptop which does not boot.. Is there something I can use? TIA -
Inductors close to the cpu from left of the pic to the right have the following resistance to ground:
Left most 100 ohms
Middle three 8 ohms

asus UP6502 not booting
NO battery connected. Usb c meter is at 20V 0.7A the amber light comes on and pulses after few seconds.
Battery connected. Usb c meter starts at 19.64V at 2.75A steady amber light but changes to steady amber light and steady while light while the usb c meter changes to 20V at 0A..
Does anybody have an idea of what the issue might be or where I should start finding issues? -
Are you replacing the touch bar? May be you will find liquid damage under it?...Leave a comment:

A2337 has thicker, wider and stickier glue. It is time consuming to cut the double sided tape. One can easily damage the the backlight sheets or even worse damage the camera flex in the process. I didn't know you still can get 1100 for a2337. Complete lcd shell replacement is easiest and quickest for sure but you lose true tone. If one were to run the built in diagnostic after the full lcd assembly replacement, one will be greeted with issue with display and ALS for sure vs. only issue with display (for lcd only). You will need to separate the lcd on few before actually trying on the one you are...Leave a comment:

The serialized part is on the board next to the camera. I usually do the lcd only repair. WARNING! It's an extensively involved repair...
