    Its about time epox!!!!!

I opened my Epox board expeccted to see GSC and Hermei caps all over the board... Its even the cheaper model the EP-9HEAI kt890 and it has all rubycon and sanyo caps!!. I think epox may have learned their lesson and went with quality caps.

Eh... I see 2 small teapos...

    still not bad

I can get some pics. My HP camera is pretty blurry so ill have to get out the a510 to take the pics.

I was shocked to see them myself. BIG improvement.

Ive actually been hanging around the forums for a couple months now... Since I got this board I thought it would be worth posting.

I've been avoiding Epox for just that reason, with the GSC and other crap caps i've seen on them.. I've got 3 or 4 Epox boards from 2002 to early 2004 vintage, all with bad caps.. Although the latest one has Sanyo caps in the VRM section, and crap everywhere else.. I guess i might try buying an Epox board now..

Are you going to re-cap them yourself, or would you like them re-capped?

I'll eventually get around to doing them.. I've done more than a few cap replacements, so it's no big deal for me.. They all still work, but i've taken them out of service.. They'll probably hang out in my desk drawer until i need a replacement Socket A board, then i'll recap them.. Two of them are KT266A, one's a KT400, the other is a Nforce2.. I think i have an 8k7a that was "factory recapped" with all teapo's.. So make that 5 Epox boards i have that have at least some crap caps on them..

I see a problem here, The topleft corner of the board is rubbed out.

Gaming Laptop Zephyrus S17 TFT not detected every time !
                      by titomno2
                      Hi guys,
I post my problem here because I think it could be a capacitor related issue (Asus support on this particular subject is non-existing).
So the computer is a Zephyrus-S17-GX735LXS-26T and the strange behavior is seen.
On cold start most of the time the internal screen is detected and a picture it works fine until shutdown, sleep or deep sleep.
Then the screen won't work for a long period of time.
If I wait 1 or 2 hours it work again most of the time.
When it doesn't work the batterie indicator blink 3 times white stop and the same schematic is repeated...

Adding a clock battery to action camera to retain date&time when changing batteries Campark X25
                      by flat-earther
I have a cheap action camera with an annoying trait, every time I change batteries the date & time gets reset and I have to set it again.

To solve this problem I want to add a small internal battery inside it which will keep supplying power to the camera for a while while I change batteries so the date & time is retained.

I have opened the camera and I think there is enough room to add something inside to accomplish this:

The camera is powered by a 3.7V nominal single cell lithium ion battery.
So I need to connect another battery in...

HP Pavilion dm4-1065dx long time to get the power led on
                      by OscarAV
                      Hello,

I just came here to see if someone has had the same problem I have, and if he or she solved It, to know how to do It.

I have made a quick search for my laptop but I have not seen anything similar.

I have an old laptop, an HP Pavilion dm4-1065dx which takes a lot of time to be ready to start if the laptop has been unplugged for a while. It has no battery. The battery failed long time ago. It needs to be plugged to work. But as I said, It can take a lot of time until the charging led gets on, and I can switch on the laptop. I am using an external monitor...

Pioneer RM-07 Active monitors cutting out from time to time
                      by BigOof
I have a pair of Pioneer RM-07 monitors that I bought a while ago. When I was testing them I noticed that one speaker would cut out and I thought it was just a bad cable connection. At the price they were being sold for I was willing to take a risk on them. However, 6 months later and the one monitor still has the same issue. Most of the time it works, but there are times that the power LED is on but I get absolutely no sound. I can hear the relay clicking on/off sometimes and then it will/won't work depending on what it feels like. I've tried XLR and RCA inputs with the same issue. There's no...

HP Notebook - 15-ba017ax (LA-D711P Motherboard) turns off randomly after some time
                      by nieljosiah
I've had this laptop for 8-9 years, and about a week back, it started malfunctioning. When I press the power button, the power LED comes on for about 5secs and turns off. The fan also doesn't spin at all during this time. But, if I press the power button, and then manually spin the fan, the laptop boots up and the fan starts spinning on its own. Even if I do this, and the laptop boots up, it turns off (hard shutdown) after some time between 10secs and 1hour randomly. I've tried checking the fan voltage and it's at zero volts when I press the power button without spinning it, but when I spin the...
