by myth77Can someone recommend any good UV solder mask? But i need a solder mask that will stand high temperetures. The thing is...sometimes i have a bigger cooper ripped from the board, lets say mosfet pad... i reconstract it with cooper sheet, then i "glue it" with solder mask...then i use UV light...and let it cool a bit. After, i try to clean the cooper of extra solder mask..and till that part all is ok. But, when i use a soldering iron to solder that pad/cooper...the solder mask gets weaker or destroyed and finally the pad is ripped again from the board .
Is there any solder mask... -
by janos666I was trying to reset the Pulse Meter and re-adjust the Panel-1/2 settings in the SM on an exceptionally old Pioneer LX5090 (51k power-on hours according to it's SM). I did this many times on much less aged specimens (with 10-20k hours) without issues. After following the usual workflow, I noticed the darkest gray shade showed up black with bright sparkles. I tried to adjust some other parameters but it didn't disappear. Then I went on and restored the old values of the parameters I don't usually touch (although I did this from memory, so I might have made an error). After that, I started going...03-26-2023, 11:20 AM

by DynaxSCHi,
I have got for repair a Gigabyte GTX 1080Ti which has been exposed to mouse piss, I mean a real living mouse, that declared the PC case for her home. Unfortunately she was not behaving civilized, and pissed on the card making some minor electrolysis demage only to the very surface of some soldering points and leaving some dirt on the card. It was not a big deal, only minor visible effects, only on the bottom pcb side, after cleaning it is almost not visible. The card even started to work, however there are issues with the pcie bus, so the card works only in pcie x4, or x2 mode,... -
by foshlandHi to all, I have a B550M DS3H from MSI, it works ok, but when I turn off PSU, It loses the bios saved parameters, changed the 3V battery and measured Vbat line and its ok, 3.2V, so its not the battery. I have the diagram and boardview, updated the bios to latest version, and still no go. I uploaded the 3 files in case someone needs them.
I have traced the line Vbatt to the EC and the RTC and it keeps ok when I remove PSU power, it meassures 3.some volts.
Any ideas? thanks a lot... - Loading...
