Want to sell one of them? I could use a dual-head card... I'd prefer a Radeon 9200 though. (yes, 9200. NOT anything with a bigger number). but if the price is right, I'd live with an nvidia card.

that is an interesting pic you have there. cap has vented with some force so i am thinking that those are normal electrolytics and not polymer. those type of caps are annoying though, it is impossible to identify who made them. if you recap it see if there is some info on the bottom of the cap. i would like to see one of those caps cut and unrolled also.

did the other card have the same position cap vent exactly the same? it would indicate more stress at that position.

the voltages are crazy also 10v???. agp=1.5v i guess those caps were cheapest for them to get.

they look like radial lead rather than chip type so i guess recapping will be easy. looking forward to seeing pics of the recapping. i think all those caps will have to go.

I was thinking before they're fixed, to save you time and me money.

yup they are all going to get replaced

the 470s that are paired up in the photo are the ones that seem to split, the other card has the other 470 split and one of the 1000's is bloating on the one in the photo. and your right they are radial lead not surface mount so they wont be too much trouble ..

all the paired up ones are in parrallel too so i may just replace them with single 1000uf caps for the paired 470's and a 2200uf for the pair of 1000'sand test it out ..
