It reboots randomly without any warning and sometimes it takes forever too boot Windows. Hard drive is fine, I don't have ESR meter yet to check for caps, could it be the southbridge?

Re: ECS GeForce6100PM reboot issues
Windows probably detected a problem so it rebooted on you. (default behavior)
If Windows has a fatal error, it will reboot itself by default. (Microsoft's "feature" of NT-based Windows)ASRock B550 PG Velocita

The BlueESR I ordered is on its way, in the meantime, what else can I test on this ECS motherboard?Comment

Re: ECS GeForce6100PM reboot issues
Have you run memtest? It could also be the chipset BGA failing, the 6100/6150 are notorious for that.Originally posted by PeteS in CARemember that by the time consequences of a short-sighted decision are experienced, the idiot who made the bad decision may have already been promoted or moved on to a better job at another company.Comment

Re: ECS GeForce6100PM reboot issues
I'm dumb! How could I forget something so simple as that? It kept hanging before I could even boot Memtest+, cleaned the DIMM slots and so far the tests pass. Will do a stability test for 6 hours, if it runs fine, I assume that was the issue.Comment

by spice_discI'm currently trying to diagnose and fix my Vizio TV (Model M50-C1). I've tried a number of different basic solutions, but I'm trying to determine if my issue is currently a failing panel, T-Con board, or main board (or something else entirely) and whether or not it is worth my time to fix it. Details of the issue and what I've tried are below as well as why I think it is either a bad panel, T-Con board, or main board.
The Issue: The TV will be on and working fine but after the TV is on for ~5-10 minutes the screen will freeze (with sound continuing) until the TV reboots itself. While...1 Photo -
by a_tiny_antHi everyone
Since a month or so my laptop, a refurbished Dell Latitude E5550, has been unable to exit sleep mode or properly reboot. Upon waking from sleep mode it shuts down and reboots and upon attempting a reboot it just hangs at a black screen forever. The laptop was working fine for several years up until a month ago.
Initially I thought it was OS related, since it's running Arch Linux, wouldn't be the first time an update broke something but it also happens on Windows, Ubuntu live images and even a complete restored image from a year ago where it definitely worked... -
by abhorsenHey guys,
Hope you all are doing well. I come here from Win-Raid because I am having issues disabling Flash Protection Range Registers so I can flash my BIOS from within Windows using Intel's IFW tool/using flashrom within Linux, however I cannot due to the above mentioned error.
Here is my thread on Win-Raid detailing the whole process I went through: https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/re...h-gen/95478/27
Essentially I managed to boot into Windows while shorting PINs 1+5 of my audio chip to disable the HAP bit...-

by Track4207Hi all! A bit of an interesting and unusual problem: as the the title suggests I have a Hisense H50N5300UK that reboots when showing fullscreen solid red images (and some other solid colours, but red generally causes the issue the fastest). I first came across the problem assuming it was an intermittent issue, but later lucked into finding out that a title sequence of a show I watch happened to trigger the reboot.
What happens:- TV appears to operate normally, for an indefinite amount of time until a problem image appears
- The problem image is displayed very briefly, then the
