    MSI K7T266 Pro2 v2

I got this board from a friend and needless to say I'm suprised that it even booted at all. I'm not going to bother replacing the caps since he already sold his CPU and is going to upgrade to a Athlon 64. Here is a list of the caps and come pixs.

    United Chemi-Con KZG (ok):
    3 X 16v 1500uF
    8 X 6.3v 2200uF

    Tayeh (bad brand, but not bulging yet);
    3 X 6.3v 1500uF

    Lelon (all busted):
    10 X 6.3v 1000uF

    Re: MSI K7T266 Pro2 v2

Lelon once again puts all badcap manufacturers, including its rival Tayeh, to shame with its unparalleled popping power!

Notice how even though the Lelons are only present at relatively 'low-risk' positions on the motherboard, those on either 'side' of the CPU VRM being UCC, they couldn't pass up an opportunity to spew their pathetic contents. Something which, I might add, probably would have happened even if the board had been left entirely unused.

These are good boards - provided that you have good caps - either from factory (luck) or after recapping. I've had one with Teapos instead of Lelons and it was fine.

I agree. My wife's MSI Neo2 had UCC (out of the box) for every electrolytic cap I can see - and it's never shown any signs of instability.

One of the kids has a MSI KT6V-LSR (essentially the VIA KT600 analog of your board), and it came with Teapo and Rubycon ZL. Again, probably luck of the draw.

            MSI K7T266 Pro (Ver. 1.0)
            by ssl6
            Hey Everyone,

Long time lurker, but I think this is my first time posting.

Just looking for some assistance on identifying some suitable replacement capacitors for an MSI K7T266 Pro (Ver. 1.0). I just got my hands on two of them actually, both working but one has some visibly bulging capacitors and the other has a few that I can't tell for sure if they're bulging because it's faint at best if they are.

I'll be honest I don't fully understand much on capacitor spec sheets beyond voltage and capacitance but I can solder like nobodies business so I've...

            K7T266 Pro2 (MSI MS-6380), damaged caps!
            by Tormi2k
            Hi Guys!

For my retro machine I was looking for a mainboard with 3.3V AGP support. Luckily I found several being one a K7T266 Pro2 from MSI. The board runs fine, but after a brief visual inspection I could find physically damaged caps around the socket area. My guess is that during the installation of the CPU cooler they got damaged. To be on the save side I want to replace them.
My main concern are the five RUBYCON MBZ 2200uf, 6.3V. But if I start the process I am also looking on the other ones around the socket area.

            In total there are

            MSI K7T Pro2 Ver1 - capacitors have higher values?
            by Acerman123
Trying to fix this board, MSI K7T Pro2.

All Tayeh capacitors showed either as damaged or with uf values which were faf from what they should be so I have replaced them and all other capacitors except those big ones near CPU.

The motherboard powers on but doesn't post. My PCI bios code reader will most of the time dsplay some some kind of code if there has been no power to board for a while but I don't think those codes mean anything in this situation. If I power off the board and try powering it on the second time the code reader usually doesn't show anythin. Unplug...

I replaced one Xbox 360 16v 1500uF Cap with 25v 2200uF what issues will it cause?
            by Rotsinger
So the 16v 1500uF capacitor C9B1 near the power connector on the back of a Phat started leaking. Haven't been able to find the right cap, so I replaced it with a larger 25v 2200uF capacitor a couple weeks ago and everything is working fine since then. I didn't replace the other six 16v caps, they were all good.

When putting the fan plastic cover back I remember there were maybe 2-3 mm of clearance on top of it and 1-2 mm of clearance to the side of it.
For those that don't remember what the fan cover looks like I found this picture https://cdn.quade.co/wp-content/uploads/2...

            Pascal S-Pro2 amplifier module

            Hi

I was using this module in a Professional Audio Subwoofer. One day it blew and certain small components were burnt such that they cannot be identified by their part numbers. I am a certified Electronics Technician and would like to have the chance to repair my module, if you have a part list for this module, that would be great. I need to know the values of the following components:

            TRANSISTORS
            T503, T506, T509, T511

            DIODES
            D502, D504, D506, D508, D520, D522

            IC'S
            IC501, IC505

            RESISTORS
            R500,...
