I also have this model. I had 2 caps on the main board that were bulging, the one labelled c206 like the original poster had problems, and one right next to it (c216), so my board must be a different rev (or forgot to look for a label or take a picture. Both were 6.3V 1000uf originally. I replaced them with some 10v 1000uf ones that I had and things are working well for a couple hours of testing now.

DigiKey. You probably should also replace your keyboard. Neither the shift key, nor any of the punctuation keys seem to be working.

For a number of reasons, both health and personal, I will no longer be active on this board. Any PMs asking for assistance will be ignored.

              Hi,

My screen goes black after a few seconds in which one can hear some buzzing coming off the inverter board. This persists even after I had all 3 caps replaced since they where inflated.

              Thanks

Hi double posting in old threads will not help your case- it is a waste of resources and leads to confusion.
Have you specifically read the thread titled "A guide on how to troubleshoot 2 seconds to black" in these forums.
Whilst Bad caps can be the cause or contribute to 2secs to black it could be any number of other things. My suggestion would be you start your own thread state your problem, include pictures of your boards front&back. Say what you have tried/tested so far and post the results. Give descriptions of which caps you replaced and what you replaced or had them replaced with. Give some information about yourself -electrical skills and the tools you have access to. A good idea is to read some of the other threads and see what others did.
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Gen 10 - Flickering Screen
                  by Ado02
                  Hello everyone,

We recently replaced the OLED screen on a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Gen 10. After about a month, the replacement screen began to flicker. Initially, updating the Intel® Iris® Xe graphics driver resolved the issue for about a week. However, when the problem recurred, updating the driver again had no effect.

The flickering only occurs once the system reaches the Windows login screen. Interestingly, if we disable the Intel GPU driver or connect the laptop to an external monitor, the flickering stops. We have tried installing two different replacement screens,...

Viewsonic VS16217 strange problem - white flickering screen on power up
                  by domu
As per subject, on power up display shows no image, but white
flickering screen. Strangely, it only happen after power was lost
when it was on. After power returns - white screen only, but if
disconnect power for 12-24 hrs, and connect then again monitor
                  works normally.

Any clues how to go about it would be greatly appreciated.

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
                  by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

HP ENVY HP 13-aq1013dx - screen flickering black if using touchpad or external mouse

This device came in due to the screen flickering if you use the touchpad or external mouse. It will flicker black when this occurs. If you use the touchscreen, the behavior does not appear. Also, if connected to external monitor, the external monitor is not affected by the flickering. I did a good amount of research on this, and concluded that it is due to the display driver. HP does not offer Windows 11 drivers for this model so I got the replacement drivers direct from Intel. I installed them and the problem...

iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
                  by smic717394
                  Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
