Hi all,
I have a Gateway TFT30W90 monitor. It is an early 30" WUXGA model, and when it worked, it was gorgeous. These monitors are notorious for having cold solder joints on the T-con board, and it's getting old now, so even if something were available in the market, I'm liking going to have the same issue(s).
Questions:
1) To what extent are T-CON boards interchangeable? Is there some common data format for the data in/data out that most manufacturers adhere to?
2) Is it possible to hack the LCD to be used in a different monitor?
3) Does anyone know where I can replacement TCON boards for this monitor?
