Fried this component, where to find replacement for Acer-G226HQL

    I accidentally plugged in a POE PSU (48V) into a monitor (12V) Acer-G226HQL

    What appears to be a regulator , popped and fried with characters ( I think) :AME8815 AEDS330 T330 ?

I cannot find this exact component and just wondered if there was a similar one for sale I could use to replace it ?

I have a feeling the diode on the left also needs replacing , looks like 540 on that . I am thinking the monitor is salvageable

I did initially try to find a replacement board , there were some archived but none currently for sale ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/Acer-G226HQ...p2047675.l2557)

that;s a nice hole in the 8pin chip on the left.
is that regulator shorted by any chance??

here is the pdf, I think the diode is a mbrs540t3g On the board you linked the diode is an "S54"

There's no blown ( with hole in ) 8 pin chip , unless I am mistaken?

The regulator has a hole in it , Its pretty irrelevant if shorted or not don't you think? Its pretty much fubar

Finding a replacement is the challenge here

Do you know where I can find a suitable replacement ?

The PDF shows many variants; I feel lost figuring which is needed

I think I am beginning to understand
AME8815 is the family of regulators
            AEDS means :
            A Pin config
            E Operating Temp ( 40 -85 )
            D Package 263
            S Number of pins ( 2 )
The 330 in the part number is the output voltage 3.3 V

Based on that information , I ordered this (below)

It sure looks like big hole on that 8-pin device U1 to me too. 48V into 12V will sure cause lots of damages.

also, up and right of it.
3x 75ohm resistors - center one may be toast!
strange as i suspect they are load resistors for the RGB input to provide impedence matching.
