how to disable half inverter circut and baypass protection

hello gentlemen warm and getting hot greetings from Egypt
there's allot of situations I've no choice but to disable one transformer out of the two that inverter is using
also reduce lamps to 2 out of 4 "1 on top one on bottom of the LCD panel"

the last situation i faced was a burnt inverter board on CCFL connector
    "hp la1951g"

inverter board is a single high voltage transformer + 2 connectors'2 pins each' sure for only 2 lamps with no chance to fix the board i had to put an external inverter that uses ordinary 2 transformers + 4 connectors

inverter board make sound and shut after 2 seconds using only one transformer 2 connectors

how can i bypass that and if this question was mentioned before can anyone guide me to a solution

another situation when i have no chance to replace cclf lamps due to measurements
trying to keep inverter board operating with it's half disabled
hope u guys understand what i mean

Re: how to disable half inverter circut and baypass protection

So let me get this correctly, you have monitor that only has two lamps and the replacement inverter board is made for 4 lamps operation but you need to make this replacement board work with two lamps, correct?
If that is the case, we will at least see the good clear pictures of this replacement inverter board.
Some people here may suggest you to upgrade it to LED backlights instead.

yes, led kits are a lot less trouble and very cheap.

Great picture, can I see the back side of the board too? I do not see any detection didoes on the board.
Also please give me the P/N of that 16-pin PWM IC so we can look up the spec sheet for it.

Funny, I bought the exact same inverter from eBay not too long ago. Still haven't installed it, so I was able to look at it for you

                  With this inverter...
                  https://www.badcaps.net/forum/attach...5&d=1434323554
... The left side provides feedback to the DF6109A controller IC, so you cannot disable that. Also, it looks like the primary sides of the two transformers are in series, so it may not be possible to disable the right side. However, it may be possible to just plug 2 lamps in the left side transformer to make the feedback look happy. I don't know, try and see. Connect 2 CCFLs on the left side and none on the right side. If it doesn't work, then the two transformers definitely have their primary sides in series.

that foto makes it look like the transformer need resoldering!
it must be the camera angle.

Do you mean those blue high voltage caps between the CCFLs and the transformer?

There are only 2 on this board. Haven't traced them how they are connected (yet). The CCFLs for the right inverter are connected to ground on one side and the transformer's high voltage outputs on the other.

It's the same for the left inverter, except here the lower CCFL connector provides feedback (CCFL is not connected to ground there).

The joints on mine are like that as well. The manufacturer used lead-free solder, but they did a poor job with it. Most big joints look ugly.

I quiet struggling with board lenovo c681 to disable 4gb samsung onboard ram because they're faulty, I followed the instruction on the schematic to disable them with resistor codes but still not detecting the ram on the slot.

can someone disable onboard ram from my dumped bios, please 🙏

I tried the other bios on this forum with disabled onboard ram, but no success

my final try is to find someone that can help disable onboard ram in my dumped bios attached in this post.

after that I officially give up 😂

                          thanks for awesome jobs 😊...

Vizio E55-E1 bad backlights or bad inverter?
                          by x_orange90_x
I just got this tv today and it appeared to have no backlight on. After taking off the rear cover and checking again in the dark I can see that MAYBE one quadrant is lit.. But still it's quite dim. I was going to check the LEDs with my tester, and I found LED 1 and LED 2 + pins on the wire from the inverter, but I couldn't identify a ground. Nonetheless I tried using a mounting screw on the inverter board and also the chassis as ground but regardless my tester reads 300 which is what it reads when there is no voltage draw.

I don't know how exactly to test the inverter itself. Is it...

It work very well as inverter and also as charger if I let the rear switch in auto mode (inverter) and charger only(charging) but in auto when I connect the feed line 220V AC first time it pass ok to line and start charging the batteries but when I remove the feed line it pass to inverter mode and if I do it again the second time when passing from charging to inverter the Main transformer start making a...

good night! I have this screen that looks half black and half white. the tcon gives a low vgh value (5-6v). the rest seem fine. I first removed the flex from one half of the panel and then the other. Removing the left, vgh increases it to 25-26v. I think the problem is in that area, but there are not many elements on the integrated controller board. there are no shorted capacitors. could they be a cof? Some help?

By the way, now the entire screen is black. Maybe some flex was not connected correctly... I have exchanged the flex and there are no variations, I don't think they are the...
