    TD Systems K50DLG12US half black and half white screen

    good night! I have this screen that looks half black and half white. the tcon gives a low vgh value (5-6v). the rest seem fine. I first removed the flex from one half of the panel and then the other. Removing the left, vgh increases it to 25-26v. I think the problem is in that area, but there are not many elements on the integrated controller board. there are no shorted capacitors. could they be a cof? Some help?

    By the way, now the entire screen is black. Maybe some flex was not connected correctly... I have exchanged the flex and there are no variations, I don't think they are the flex. thank you. greetings

          Maybe try the tape cut off method, involves blocking some signals, check youtube or other threads for more info.

              thanks for answering. I've already tried covering part of the flexes and it hasn't worked. A technician friend has checked it and says it is the tcon. I will confirm it, because the tcon is difficult to obtain in this model. greetings

                  Well, I opened the back cover and as you can see in the picture, I unplugged 2 L (left) ribbon, TV turned ON, but half of screen (Right) is normal, and the other side (Left) is white. I continued to test...
                  Result:
                  I swapped the ribbons L<-->R = Blinking 2x power light, 5x timer light
                  Unplugged 2 R Plug 2 L = Blinking 2x power light, 5x timer light
                  Unplugged 2 L Plug 2 R = Blinking 2x power light, 5x timer light

                  Only in the first test, where I did not                  ...

                  I have a Philips 58PUS8545 which have a vertical moving lines on screen and it is flashing white vertical lines like a every 3-4 seconds.
                  See the attached image.

                  I removed left side flex-cable from the t-con and then there was half screen sharp and correct image and other half was white.
                  But when I removed the right side flex-cable then half of the screen was white but other half was white and above the white there was vertical lines on half of the screen.

                  T-con two flex-cables have been changed to cross but nothing changed, so it is not due those...

                  The 55" LG has been in the basement for a few months without being used. Turned it on yesterday, set came on as it should and showed a complete screen for about 5 seconds (was on a broadcast channel but no antenna was connected), then the screen went mostly dark with about 1/3 of the screen on the right lighting up with brighter lines in that lit part (sorry, no pictures of that). Power LED was cycling too, preventing the TV from fully powering up.
                  Pulled the back off, all boards looked OK. Pulled the LED connector, turned the set on to see if it would power up but I don't belive it...

                  Any idea what could be causing the left half of the screen to be completely black and the right half completely white?

                  No picture from any input or OSD. The audio, however, works fine. Also, the backlight changes intensity along with the input feed.

                  I've tested the voltages on all the marked test points I could find and everything reads OK.

                  I've tried applying both heat and pressure to the tabs connecting the panel to the buffer boards to no effect.

                  Unplugging the white ribbon cables going into the 2 buffer boards on the black half of...

                  Another TV topic!!
                  I got this sharp TV that when I first plugged it in it showed the sharp logo and then went to the input screen. This was about 30 seconds and then it showed white screen. Now I can't see anything but white screen. This has a separate TCON and Main.

                  The TCON is getting 12V and several parts are as well but the VGH line is only .5Volts which I thought is totally incorrect.

                  Am I on the correct assumption that the TCON is bad somehow if I'm only getting that voltage or is there something else I should check?...
