They seem to be the 805 based on your measured dimensions, I did not look at your links.Never stop learning

Re: Asus MK241H no power
Not sure if anybody has one. I have searched for it but I came up empty.
From where did you get those values since you are looking for a service manual? Do you have the same monitor?
Please if you do, could you take a picture with these resistors, I would like to order the resistors before the IC comes from China.Comment

@tibimakai, I am wondering the same thing on how he gets the values of those resistors if he does not have the service manual, we need to see the pictures of those resistors to verify.Never stop learning

Re: Asus MK241H no power
Lately I'm fixing monitors and I have more problems fixing these then TVs.
Now I'm working on a Samsung 245B and everything seems good at least to the point that I have reached checking.
I thought that it will be an easy fix, the 3x68 OHM resistors and it will run, but not.
Capacitors read OK too(18nf, 82uf, 10uf, 47uf).
I guess I will stay away from monitors, it's way to much time goes into fixing them and I don't make enough money. These two monitors I'm planning to keep for myself, otherwise I would have trashed them. One will be on one workbench and the other one the other workbench, with mounts from monoprice.

Re: Asus MK241H no power
I have received many tvs that had the power supplies recapped only to find bad diodes.
Also anytime you are working with smaller moniters some use a 12 vdc transformer and that is normally the issue and not the smaller moniter.
Just a thought.Comment

Re: Asus MK241H no power
I'm not coming back with good news.
I have replaced the IC, the three resistors and still a no go.
I'm getting on pin:
#1 1.78V #5 0.04V
#2 0,00V #6 0.25V
#3 0.00V #7 0.012V
#4 0.00V #8 143.5V
The pin 1 oscillates slightly.
I don't have writen down the R103, but it was 9.xx Kohm.Last edited by tibimakai; 07-23-2012, 12:44 AM.Comment

About the same as DC voltage reading at the main DC filter cap (450V cap), pin8 Drain is used for start up.Attached FilesNever stop learning

Re: Asus MK241H no power
Howdy, Don't know if you're still interested, but here are resistor values you were looking for: R124 1k (102), R137 5.1 (5R1), R181 12k (123). R172 is, I believe 0.1 ohm (brn, blk, silv) 1 or 2 watt. Q101, TEA1530 along with above resistors fixed mine. Good luck! BTW, had to scrape away some charring between the pads of a couple resistors.Comment

by GLISITHi all,
TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!
I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

by ShadowAiHello, I have an issue with the motherboard. Specifically, it doesn't power on, more precisely, the POST initialization doesn't occur.
Let me start from the beginning, the motherboard suddenly stopped working one day. There are no beep signals from the speaker, and the debug LEDs are not lighting up. After inspecting it under a microscope and using thermal imaging, I didn't find anything that could be damaged.
After that, I began voltage measurements, in which I noticed the absence of VDDQ, VDDP, VTT, and VPP lines. Later, I checked if there is an EN state on these lines,... -
by meraklinetxHello, I have an asus Z97-A motherboard and it doesn't start which was working properly before, the problem isn't related by ram, ram slots or psu (I changed all and nothing work), the exact problem is when you switch it on , it starts and after 1 seconds (no boot or display picture) it's off and then on cycle continuously until you power it off from psu also it's responding to the power switch for turning it off if you keep pressing it 3 or 4 seconds (power button pin has 3.3v) , also when you start it with eatx 12v socket connected this is happening (power cycle also all voltages are resetting...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by DuranitronWhen I reflash again the bios of hoaca388 the unit powers on and the unit lives!!! Hooray!! All voltage in the coil 3.3v, 5v and 6.7v indicate charging are all present. including the cpu voltage , EEPROM and GPU voltage the unit is now alive, normal screen booting to windows and log in screen until I power it off. Then the unit never goes on even when pressing the power button in the keyboard.. Voltage reading 19v main , 3.3v VCC in IT8225E-128 and EEPROM VCC 0 volt and the charging voltage 0 volt.
