So when it rains it pours. I have a benq G2000W monitor. The unit powers on and shows a great image, however, it will randomly start to flicker and then have a blue push. It seems to subside after time, but will pop up again. Any thoughts?

Re: BenQ G2000W flicker
Not to be redundant here, but I can't find anything on this. Do we have any thoughts as to what could be causing the monitor to flicker and get a blue hue? -
Re: BenQ G2000W flicker
Not a clue - try cleaning lvds cable between panel and main board.
Check bulbs/wiring.
Check voltage regulators.
Replace caps on inverter board.
Resolder all joints on transformers etc. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: BenQ G2000W flicker
If you have any good 'test' Backlights then I would use them to substitute in sequence the ones in the Monitor ie leave an original set in and a test set in the other position, and see what the screen and 'flicker' is like, and then do the same with the other set of lights. The flicker could be a few things, but Backlights are up towards the top of the list.Comment

by fixit007I picked up this TV that the prior owner said - just died.
Tested the fuse - burnt. A dead capacitor is visible too on the hot side (CP801). Got the replacement power board (cheaply - used). Replaced the board - the TV turned ON!
Now, about a month later (yesterday) I noticed the left side of the screen was flickering from time to time. That was already happening with the antenna input, not through HDMI.
Also, some glitchiness with a Fire stick on HDMI3 - I hit an app with quick dark screen in stick, the TV goes - no input. Then I had to choose the stick... -
by howardc64Good picture but has ~200Hz+ faint flicker/strobing over entire screen. Also has a single green vertical line. Can mask out t-con signals (2pins) to stop flicker/strobing but 1/12 of screen will be all colorful vertical lines (single green vertical line is in this section)
Since can mask t-con signal to disable part of the screen and stop flicker/strobing. Obviously not backlight.
Panel has 4x driver boards each responsible for 1/4 of the screen. 3 tabs on each board. Each tab responsible for 1/12 of the screen. the 2 outer most tabs has additional horizontal gate control... -
by seppdeHello everyone,
I've got a Benq power board of a XL2540K monitor which suffered from a power cut and is since defective / won't turn on. It's got obvious defects, some blown resistors, some burning around the drain pin of a MOSFET...
... and some 6-pin IC I struggle identifying, that is driving said MOSFET.
The IC is labeled as IC601, so someone with a circuit schematic could probably identify it really quick, unfortunately I can't find the schematics.
In other power boards of Benq for which I did find the schematics, IC601 is an 8-pin NCP1200 PWM controller - I suppose...2 Photos-

by sgcampionHello,
Asus rog strix scar 17 G733QR
My Asus laptop started flickering from time to time and more and more in last months. First the screen was going black but sometimes if I moved the screen it would work again, other times I needed to plug/unplug the laptop or close and open the lid to make it work again.
In last days I see that if I move the laptop lid to about 45 degrees it will flicker or get white or black screen(it's random, sometimes white sometimes flickers etc). I was trying to troubleshoot it myself but seems like it's either the cable or the display....10-24-2023, 09:39 AM -
by AJ847.63eHi All.
Does anyone have any reference materials or something I can use to try troubleshooting a BenQ TH681? Google unfortunately has turned up zip. I did find a service manual for a W series BenQ but that is pretty much useless, it's more a glorified user manual. A list of voltages would be great as I suspect my mainboard is faulty, the colour wheel voltage is not dipping like it should.
The one I am troubleshooting now was originally overheating after a lamp replacement. It originally would take 2 minutes or so for it to shut off and blink the temp and lamp lights... - Loading...
