I think you need to get the house wiring checked out not the monitor
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Bad cable? I had a HDMI cable to when the fridge kicked in blanked off..

Also had a TV that used to switch into standby when the Mrs hardbooted her PC... Turned out there was a short on the HDMI cable allowing interference... Figured it was a short as when I touched the HDMI cable I got zapped LOL

Well once again I found a solution over here! NewtoThis, thank you my friend, it was my cheap HDMI cable, I connected the old DVI cable instead and all is OK. I bought a cheap HDMI on amazon, something like 3$... The cable that came with the monitor is HDMI/DVI now that I have installed it, no more problems. Selldoor, electrical variation in a house is business as usual, besides that, all my 6 other LCD displays were ok Thanks anyway.

Yeah there is very little shielding in cheap cables so the compressor on a fridge can disrupt the signals. As soon as you mentioned the fridge I knew it was probably that

            Problem with monitor DS-D5022QE-B
            by Askic
            Hello to all,

I have a problem with monitor that is delivered together with CCTV system.
The monitor appears to be completely dead, there is no LED power diode and it doesn't react to pressed power button.

I have disconnect display and check many components on the power supply part of the board. There is no anything obvious and monitor is about 3 years old. There are no bulged caps. When measuring voltages on the output connector to VGA board I can measure stable 14.5 V on 12V pins and stable 5.07V on 5V pins. So I assumed that this part of the board is OK....

            Samsung LU32J590UQUXEN Monitor display problem
            by CptChronic
I have an intermittent display problem with my monitor, when I plug in the HDMI cable to my (or any) laptop, you see the connection screen shrink on the laptop as it usually would before displaying on the monitor but 95% of the time the monitor display stays black.

Before it cut out all together, tapping the monitor control button a fair few times would make the screen display, and everything work fine.

But now it never does it. Not sure what's going on, hoping someone can help. I'm capable of stripping the thing down and soldering in new parts if needed, or programming...

            LG 24MP56HQ-P Monitor Backlight problem?
            by tmhobadcap
I have a few successful experience in fixing tv backlight problem. But for monitor, I have no experience. However, I think they are more or less the same. Am I correct?

Recently, I got the captioned monitor and the owner said it could not be turned on. I open it up and found that one of the SMT capacitors seemed to be bad. I replaced it as well as the other one. The monitor still could not be turned on.

I found the power indicator is on. When I shine a flashlight on the screen, I can see the image. Therefore, I think it is with backlight problem. I took out the led strip....

Lenovo Legion 5 15IMH05H No Display
            by Rolin
I have a Lenovo Legion 5 15IMH05H 81y6003yUS that someone asked me to help them with a failing SSD. I installed a new SSD, fresh Win11 installation, updates, etc. Very standard stuff and everything was completed. He said he'll pick it up in a few days so I shut it down and set it aside.

A few days later came and now it won't POST an image, keyboard lights up, fans spin then shuts itself off after about 40 seconds. I've already tried the typical draining capacitance and removed CMOS battery, etc. No display on an external HDMI monitor as well.. No idea what happened. Suspected a BIOS...
