Re: Hanns G HG216D flashing power button
Hello, same problem with the flashing LED with this HANSS-G monitor, Q107 in the control board, the voltage is E-3.26 B and the C-voltage "jumps" is not stable, what's the reason? ThanksLeave a comment:

Hi, I have monitor like this I just want to ask what is the value of big cap c805? Thank youLeave a comment:

Fixed it
The problem is in the main board, not the power board. The D124 diode reads 1100 with the diode tester (while still soldered to circuit). Should be around half that value.
D124 is a 1A 100V rectifier (service manual says it should be a GS1B, but it is an M2). I replaced it with an M4 (1A, 400V) from a really broken board from another device. And... IT WORKS NOW!
I also replaced nearby caps while trying to repair the board, so it is possible that C124 was also damaged (however, I think it was not).
If anyone has a HANSS-G monitor with this problem, this should help.

Re: Hanns G HG216D flashing power button
Hi, I've got two identical HannsG monitors like this, one of them has this same problem. Boards look exactly like the ones already posted, no sign of anything damaged.
@graymon76321: I think your readings are ok, check them with the service manual here.
Both monitors were making that buzzing sound previously described, I resoldered C805, L805 and DS-3319. Great improvement, nearly silent now.
Tried the working power source with the broken control board; same result, blue led blinking.
I suspect the problem lies near Q107 in control board, voltages there are
B 2.62v C 2.49v E 3.26v for the working one and B 2.44 C 3.25 E 3.26 for the other.
Replaced caps near there, no change. Hope this helps

Re: Hanns G HG216D flashing power button
it is true or not cause the pin1,3,4 and pin2,5,6 is the same line? please answer cause i have hanns-g same model here and same problem. i want to know the true output cause i want to try to use other power supply w/ the same output. thanks
pin 1 no dc volts but 3.6v ac
pin 2 2.9v dc
pin 3 low voltage pulsing in time with front power led about .8v dc
pin 4 5v dc
pin 5 5v dc
pin 6 0v
pin 7 0v

Re: Hanns G HG216D flashing power button
Alright, after many attempts I've managed to get somewhat clear images of the boards, front and back. Not so much the connectors, but I'll see about adding info on those tomorrow morning. If need be I also have a service manual PDF I could attach.
Power board front
Power board back
Main board front
Main board back

Re: Hanns G HG216D flashing power button
We have not had much success with these -please post 4 good clear pics of the front and back of each board -good light but no flash
pictures of each board, front and back (in the same orientation) and close up of connectors, (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) using the manage attachments button, which is found by clicking "go advanced" under quick reply.
Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

Re: Hanns G HG216D flashing power button
And here comes a little bit of necroing. I've got the same monitor, Hanns G HG216D, with more or less the same problem. When I plug it in you can hear a high pitch sound coming from the power board, between the filter cap and the transformer. If I hit the turn on button, it blinks with more or less the same pattern , producing a few clicks, followed by a high pitched sound, and then rinse and repeat. All the while the tension on the on/off switch goes from 3-4v to 0 and back up. The screen tries to light up, blinks white for a half a second then goes black again, with each loop of the led blinking. The voltage accross the large filter cap is as in sebtailor's case 325v DC. I checked the pins of the power connector to the main board, and all of them had the right voltage. The on/off pin displayed the same voltage bounce I read on the actual switch/button, and the 24v pin displayed 0V. Also the same as in sparks' case, if i detach the main board from the power board the backlight comes on. If you guys need more details I'll be glad to provide them, as well as photos.Leave a comment:

If you have one bulb you could continue testing the boards by using one of budm's test bulbs made from a cfl.

If you decide to throw it out - perhaps give it away on freecycle

Re: Hanns G HG216D flashing power button
Hi guys,
i had the same Monitor with the exact same Problem. i test everything over and over. All bigger Caps were complete well, no shorts in any component, exchanged the 1084-33 and the eeprom I108. Finally i give in and disassembled the hole screen. In the end i have seen one of the neon tubes for background ligh was broken. Scince i dont know if it was broken before disassembly or during and there is no way to put it back together im out for this screen. But maybe this post can help anyone, could this be the reason why the screen is not switching on?

"When I disconnected the logic-board from the power-board, I got an all white screen."
It sounds like the main power supply is OK since the backlights do come on.Leave a comment:

I have tryed to get the eeprom of a good one with no luck.Leave a comment:

Re: Hanns G HG216D flashing power button
L803 has 26.6 V
I104: pin 1: 0V, pin 2: 3.29 V, pin 3: 4.75 V, which should be within tolerance of that part.Leave a comment:

Hi - think you may have missed this bit.- Voltages at L803 power supply and on the regulator I104 which is on the main board.Leave a comment:

Hope someone can give me some suggestions on this because i'm at my wits end with it...
I have an Envy 13-BA1565na here with an Intel Core i7 i7-1165G7 CPU (board is a LA-J475P Rev 1.0) which has an intermittent power button issue. The power button is integrated into the keyboard, and I have ruled out the keyboard, BIOS and battery as being the issue.
Basically, on mains power, the power button works fairly well. The first time you come to it after leving it sitting (either on charge or not on charge), it might take 2 or 3 presses of the button, but then the laptop boots...07-12-2024, 03:03 AM -
Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by STKR123As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.
As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.
There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,... -
by dj-bobrHi,
I kindly ask for help with Thinkpad BIOS/ME repair.
Thinkpad W541 board bought from Aliexpress, so I have no service tag nor S/N. It is 1GB version Q1 (K1100 nVidia GPU). BIOS 2.23, EC 1.13, ME 9.1.32.1002.
It worked fine until I tried to remove whitelist.
Steps taken:
- battery out, CMOS coin cell out, laptop disassembled; I kept LAN/USB subboard connected
- i took SPI programmer (CH341A with 3.3V mod) and SOIC clip and did a full backup of all SPI flash chips (SPI1 and SPI2 - BIOS, EC, ME, GbE; SPI3 - video BIOS; SPI4 - Thunderbolt fw) for several...-

by reessiHello,
With the power button connected it either boot loops with the apple logo or no display but the charging meter shows it looping on charging every few seconds.
No corrosion any where!
Tried a replacement power button off ebay and the same.
Very occasionally it will work with the power button connected!
Same results with or without the battery.
Can it be a fault with the Audio board or the mainboard?
The touch Id assembly connects through the Audio board first then to the Mainboard.
