Not radio shack, I don't think they are any in the UK. I got them from RSonline.

They are all Nichicon, Panasonic, I didn't buy any of the cheap ones - cost me £21 inc. delivery! Bloody expensive. Anyway should be here tomorrow and I'll report back if it's fixed!

Buy either from here (badcaps.net store), Digikey or Mouser.

Thanks for the tip PlainBill. Looky, they even got a distributor in Romania. I'll have to check their prices vs Farnell.

Re: AG Neovo F-419 Stuck in powersave mode.

OK, I've replaced all the caps but it's still the same. Just sits on a yellow LED.

BTW the middle leg of U10 is chopped off and not connected is that correct?

Actually on closer inspection it looks like the yellow and the green LED are on, green is not easy to see with the yellow on. There is also a high pitch sqealing sound from it sometimes - it's not very loud but I can hear it sometimes.

Ok the following PDF i beleive is the correct schematic for the board.

              Any help would be welcome.

GTX 1080 TI Gigabyte Aorus low resistance on vmem
                by cind12
Hi guys, i was wondering, i've got 9Ohms on Vmem, one of the mosfet was shortet to ground, so i've desoldered hi and low mosfets nad still low res, then i removed all of the memory chips, and the resistance is still low, so did you had maybe a card with that low res on memories, and the card was working fine ?
Removed the U1866Q and still without result, i dont have thermal cam so can't see where is hot spot when incjeting voltage.
The resistance on core is ok 0.1Ohm ((Power 0.8V when on)
Resistance on 12V 4K ohms (Power present when on)
Resistance on 12V PEX 4K ohms...

Lowest possible resistance on laptop motherboard rail - Guide Table request
                by Nagy Daniel
Hi, I'm Daniel, and I'm new to the world of repairing motherboards.

I would like to create a table, or more likely a guideline about the voltage rails and their possible resistance rail.

I know that the motherboard design has a very big depend on the rail's resistance, but I would like to know what is the smallest value for a rail that can be acceptable. For example, I heard that some new gaming motherboards can have 0,5 Ohm resistance on the GPU rail, but on an older type, it could be a sign of a shorted GPU rail.

So, I generated a table with AI so I can...

                Hey....

Board as written in description was stuck at VGA LED. common Problem wit these type of bords.... tried all the "standard stuff" like resettin... reseatin.... found out the LED Controller MCU1 = IT8295FN-56A geting burning hot under the last PCI Slot.. now i desoldered it cause there were only 18 ohms at the caps arround.... another aorus x470 in working condition with similar part and nearly same layout had arround 280 ohms...

my question is: why doesnt the board start know without this chip.... worked myself through the boardview but i can´t understand...

                by ekozeko333
                Hi all,
I’m trying to recover a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7-14ARE05 with board DA0LS3MBAF0 Rev:F. I’ve run into an unusual issue where USB-C PD is stuck at 4.7–5V and the system won’t boot (keyboard lights flash briefly, then nothing).
🔥 The Problem Started After Suspected ESD/PD Fault
I experienced a power issue or ESD event through a USB-C charger
After that, the NX20P5090 power switch was visibly burned and was replaced
Now the PD controller always negotiates 5V @ 2A, even with known-good chargers
🧠 What I’ve Done So Far
                Flashed...

                MacBook Air A2337 - 820-02016 - Stuck at 5v - Varying current draw - Board had short
                by duwane
                Hi All.

I have an 820-02016 board (A2337 M1) that has come in for data recovery. Reported as liquid damage, but no visible evidence of any liquid damage.

Board was initially stuck at 5v, and current only spiking occasionally to around 400mA and cycling.

After initial troubleshooting, found that C7800 (which feeds the power rail PP5V_BSTLQ_VOUT_SPMU) was dead short to ground.

Replaced C7800 and short gone. Board still stuck at 5v. Current draw behaviour changed. It now spikes up for a second to around 100mA to 130mA, then drops down to...
