    Pico fuse replacement

    Hi guys,

    Just a quick check
Can this fuse BEL 3A 125V PICO Fuse be use to substitute this
fuse > LITTLEFUSE PICO 3A 3 Amp Fuse

    Reason :
Got a Samsung with bulging caps & open pico fuse 3A (green). I have the ready caps to replace them but the fuse will take a while (10days to be shipped from China) to arrive. .
I have another Dell monitor waiting for me to troubleshoot, so i thought why don't i use the BEL 3A 125V PICO Fuse first?.

Will it work? any concern?.. thanks as usual guys..

    Re: Pico fuse replacement

You don't say what voltage your old fuse is, but as long as the voltage in the circuit doesn't exceed 125V, you can use the BEL fuse.

        Matsui 175S microwave fuse replacement
        by drykid
        Hi,

I recently picked up a used Matsui 175S microwave that was powering up (starts, turntable rotates) but not heating. From looking online the most likely culprit was the fuse, but unfortunately in this one the fuse had heated up and fused with the (badly designed) fuse holder and couldn't be removed. I guess this might indicate further issues beyond the fuse itself but at this stage I just want to replace the fuse and see how I go from there.

Anyway since I couldn't get out the fuse itself the easiest fix was to replace the fuse holder assembly that runs between the...

        Replacement Fuse - 980TI Gigabyte
        by whc14765
        Hi,

I have a GIGABYTE Windforce 980TI with a blown fuse. I have already found the root cause for the fuse blowing.

I need help getting a replacement fuse - I'm fine with waiting some time for some cheap ones from China.

The fuse says 10A on it. And I'm not sure what package size it is exactly. Also, how do I know if it is a fast or slow fuse?

A funny fuse story – Lumix LX100 II
        by corrize
Hello, I disassembled this dead camera, and found this WTF… Two fuses soldered one above the other !
I was pretty sure nobody touched it before, but that can't be from factory. There is flux, and capacitor is probably missing.
        The other weird thing : the fuses are « G » fuse : (0.75A – 8V), seems very low. The original fuse should be « O » : (32V 2,5A).
There is « O » mark beside. All fuses have the same mark letter on main board. So, I can deduce it's a « O » fuse.
And this correspond to the issus I saw : when I plug the battery, I measure the voltage dropping...

GPU 1206 SMD fuse markings & replacement fuses
        by eidam655
        Hello,

I need to replace a fuse on one of the graphics cards I am working on. It is a 1206 SMD fuse, white in color and has a "10" written in a blue rectangle on it.

How do I find a suitable replacement? What is the general rule to identifying fuses' parameters? I found something in an eshop near me (see photo) but am very hesitant to use this as a replacement....

        Hey,

Got a laptop in with a blown backlight fuse, I'm just not sure what replacement fuse I can use since I don't get much Lenovo laptops, so no idea what voltage/amp ratings these are supposed to have.

Included a picture in case it could help, component FG3301. Thanx in advance!
