My LCD Monitor 1905FP display is getting pink fluctuating band from its left side and display loose its sharpness. All other controls are working perfectly. I change VGA cable, CPU and I am sure it is from inside the monitor. I also perform factory reset. Following pics may explain the problem. Please advice.

Re: Dell LCD 1905FP Problem
It's probably time to take it apart. I don't think pressing any buttons on the front will clear that pink color problem. Please post some good clear foscused photos of the entire power board top and bottom. Also, a photo of the logic board would be good. Do not post photos inline, but use the "manage attachments" button.Comment

Re: Dell LCD 1905FP Problem
I have posted few pics. There are hundred of tiny components on controller board. Is it possible to check these components on board without removing them. Sharing of your experience will be highly appreciated.Comment

Re: Dell LCD 1905FP Problem
Clean all connectors with isopropyl alcohol (be careful not to spill it onto the panel!) and see if it still does it. That looks like a bad connection between display cable and panel OR it could be a problem with the panel electronics. If it's the panel it's not fixable.Originally posted by PeteS in CARemember that by the time consequences of a short-sighted decision are experienced, the idiot who made the bad decision may have already been promoted or moved on to a better job at another company.Comment

Re: Dell LCD 1905FP Problem
1) The bad news. There are tons of Capxon caps on both the power and logic board. Capxon has less than a steller reputation here.
Capacitors die from age, heat, and shoddy build quality. Capacitors DO NOT have to be visibly bloated in order to bad. They can be out of tolerance uF (a 1000uF measures 20uF) and/or have high ESR (ohm). A multimeter will be insufficient to test for ESR. For that you need an ESR tester which costs between $50 and $300.
Most members here will recommend that you replace ALL capacitors with reputable brands from reputable sellers. Brands like Rubycon, Panasonic, and United Chemicon are suggested. A list of recommended caps can be found at
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=2280
The cost of replacing all the Capxons is something for you to decide. No guarantees that the caps are causing the problem as it may be the panel.
However, before you replace them, you can do the following tests below.
2) If you have a multimeter, measure the voltage regulator I200 on the logic board. It is a 3.3V regulator so the output pin should be 3.3V.
3) Measure I313. It looks like a 18 type of part number? Look at the part number and find the datasheet. Then test for DC voltage and compare it to the datasheet.
4) On the connector from the power board to the logic board, measure and list the DC voltages on all the pins. Note if the voltages are steady or fluctuating.--- begin sig file ---
If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.
We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.
Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

Re: Dell LCD 1905FP Problem
Well, it's not backlight problem for sure. Is it temperature or time related? If not, then it's definitely video processing problem either within video card or main pcb, not the T-con.Comment

by jimjoe123I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.
Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.
Then each time... -

by SDNarciaHello, I have a Dell 15R-5521, with the problem that the Ctrl, Alt, Shitf and Num Lock keys do not work, I tested the keyboard with a keyboard tester and it is functional, I also got another new keyboard and the computer has the same problem with the same keys. Check continuity between the ZIF connector from the keyboard to the KBC and all pins are correct. I cleaned the ZIF connector and the KBC and I still have the same problem. I reinstalled windows just in case, and it didn't work. I updated the BIOS to the latest version A16 and there were no changes.

by Achille15Hello everyone,
so, I have this laptop Dell Inspiron N5110 with a heating problem on both CPU (I7-2680qm) and GPU (GT 525m), I tried many solutions, like changing thermal paste every month, using thermal pads on CPU and GPU, even using thermal pads on CPU nearby coils; but nothing worked, just minutes after booting the laptop shuts itself down so I thought it might be a short problem, so I decided to check what's going on, so I went online and some tutorial (general one) said to check inductors in order to find the shorted circuit, after checking (CPU removed), I found the culprit to be... -
by masoksianHi everyone,
I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.
The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.
The system does not turn on, there is no post.
I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.
The problem continues in the same way.
I tried to turn on the Fn key, nothing came to the screen.... - Loading...
