Not Yet, it's still on my workbench. I was waiting for insight from this board but it kinda got out of hand.
I've visually checked the motherboard, no cracks, no leaks, no runs.
There are 28 caps total, I'll post the cap brands this weekend, I hop ya'll will settle down and suggest the ones to replace first.
I've got a good selection of new caps, (about 200 total) I hope I have most of them.Comment

This sort of things sometimes happen around here. We even had a "member" banned a couple of months ago...kind of "violent".This case has a philosopher,not a fighter, so it would be OK.We are just trying to figure out what part of "theoretical,rhetorical,not-real-world-mundane-examples,out of scope suggestions/comments,you-are-not-helping-at-all-to-original-poster" is not getting thru.....

I have a TCL Roku 55S403TCAA. It quit working after a storm. Other electronics quit working as well so I am pretty sure the storm had something to do with it. Anyway, I took a look at it, no obvious damage, blown components, scorch marks, etc. I am looking at the power board first, 40-L141H4-PWG1CG. I've repaired bad caps and blown components but nothing more extensive beyond that. I am trying to troubleshoot it, but I can't even find the fuse on this board. There are markings on the PCB saying "replace fuse as marking" however. I attached a photo of the board. I am also testing the... -
THE LIGHTNING:
This was a very close strike, blew a 15 amp breaker for all ceiling lights in home AND could smell ozone for a few minutes after strike.
Very close and probably a very strong EMP.
THE TV:
No standby LED. Some voltage from PSB (not totally dead).
But found a kit of ALL 4 circuit boards for $55.
At first thought, this will fix my TV.
But then lightning has the ability to totally fry semiconductors. Which would include any or all of the PCBs. However, the display is one big semiconductor and given... -

I would like someone who can give me some hints about this issue. i was working on the laptop msi gamer GE758sf under stomy night, and when a lighstrike hit my neigbourhouse , hdmi output was cut all of a sudden.. laptop works fine but need to try to repair any cap or what you could tell me can get damaged in this circunstances...i have skills to do micro soldering the problem is that i do not have any schematics or boardview to start to measure the board...
note that the samsung led momitor is ok and working fine with another laptop same cable.

i need help to repair a edm-033 ps2
history : as always hdmi port and usb ports destroyed after unplugged
after change them, ps5 dead too : 1 beep, no blue light. after inspection 1.8v power was shorted, and because of dead panasonic chip. after remove it : no short anymore
so i changed it
now i have got 5v stby,, 3.3v stby, 3.3v power, 1.8v power and no short on them
but the ps5 is dead again : 1 beep, near 10 seconds with power lines and then off, no blue light ...
i don't see any projection of liquid metal on pcb.

I searched for the term "dead short" in the forum but no specific thread came up however if I'm just blind and couldn't see the thread talking about this please forward me to that direction.
So my problem is I don't know how to find the source of a dead shorted voltage rail. Dead short = ~0 ohm resistance.
I have two VGAs (HD 4850 and HD 4870), both dead shorted to ground on the memory rail. I have the boardview file for the 4870 and the memory rail consists around ~7892346 capacitors...
I have a bench PSU and if I try to inject voltage the voltage...
