transistor voltage ratings are only maximum, they will work just fine on lower voltages.Leave a comment:

Re: SVI3206D Hybrid IC ( BC POWER MODULE BY SANYO)
okay ,yeah i think i know what you mean , need mores wires in this case lol , did you think i can use setup of any matched pairs like 2X 2sd2439 / 2sb1588 i know these are Overrated , 160V , if i run it to 60V insead of 160V, what is chance that is work anything ? a transistor of 160V rating can be run at half Supply ? did it work like that? , using an overrated transistor in a less power supply , it will reduce Heat ? , and risk to Blowing transistor? , or it will simply destroy the power suply by taking too much current ? , sorry i have somes noobs question that pass in my head . but plz dont forget that presently i study hard in experiencing anything that look legit , thanks a lot for your time

Re: SVI3206D Hybrid IC ( BC POWER MODULE BY SANYO)
they are not run in parallel, that's a stereo amp.
you need one NPN and one PNP for each channel.Leave a comment:

Re: SVI3206D Hybrid IC ( BC POWER MODULE BY SANYO)
so this circuit have 2Xnpn in darlington configuration , and 2 pnp too , i will try to replace that only by 1 pair 1 1/2 X Rated, like tip35C and tip36C and bypas the ''darlington setup and see what it will happen , maybe the amp will be not loud as should maybe it will Explode , but this amp is not destined to be drived at max , and not destined to survive at base it should deliver the tip35/36C capabilities at minimum that is not so bad
Experiencing time , COTTON SMOOKE
i have already worked on blowed Su-g70 and su -g90 Amp with same defect ( overheated power module ) after Reflowed Hbrid ic ( to replace slided transistors ,, the amp was able to get audio but not loud as should ( Probably because one of 2 pair of transistor was blowed and amplifier lost his half punch ) ,Last edited by Jeff Pepin; 06-21-2015, 10:20 AM.Leave a comment:

Re: SVI3206D Hybrid IC ( BC POWER MODULE BY SANYO)
the original module was 130w, a tip3055 is only about 75w afaik.
even the 2n3055 in a metal can is only 115wLeave a comment:

npn pair is still intact
but pnp pair is destroyed , i was able to test only one ant its one that returned a JETTE FETTELeave a comment:

Re: SVI3206D Hybrid IC ( BC POWER MODULE BY SANYO)
its probably because one of the PNP ( fake j-fet?) device that not completly blowed , other one is burned , , the 2 other one ( npn look just fine )Leave a comment:

Re: SVI3206D Hybrid IC ( BC POWER MODULE BY SANYO)
So far I cannot tell if the output devices are just plain NPN/PNP or MOSFET, cannot find the spec of the module to verify, they do not look like MOSFET.
You also have some ICs in that module too.Last edited by budm; 06-20-2015, 10:45 PM.Leave a comment:

Re: SVI3206D Hybrid IC ( BC POWER MODULE BY SANYO)
something is not right.
the transistors should all match,
you should not be seeing bipolar(regular) transistors and J-Fets.
maybe the readings are wrong or one of the parts is damaged.Leave a comment:

thanks a lot !! so now , just need to find somes candidats the PnP device returned P-jfet , with 64Volt look like legit info ,

Re: SVI3206D Hybrid IC ( BC POWER MODULE BY SANYO)
'1' are NPN (Collectors of both Transistor '1' are connected to +VCC pin 4)
'4' are PNP (Collectors of both transistors are connected -VCC pin 5)
BTW, what is the model of this amplifier?Last edited by budm; 06-20-2015, 08:32 PM.Leave a comment:

Re: SVI3206D Hybrid IC ( BC POWER MODULE BY SANYO)
according to diagram of SVI ,
pin3=ch1 out
Pin4 = +60V
Pin5 = -60V
pin6 =ch2 out
so on my ''mspaint artwork''
both yellow 1'S marks Are +60V
Both Red 4's marks Are -60V
Both Orange 3's marks Are channel 1 Output
And
Both Green 2's Marks Are Channel 2 Output
it leave 4 Connection that is for the signal

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.
