sorry i learn in same time on that , im not sure to know what you mean by Getting the Base drive signal ( if you mean Check for Pin who have Power Supply and pin that receive Audio signal i will be ok for check it out . for the darlington , ive just read about ''Darlington Configuration'' ( fet 1 out thru fet2 in then fet 2 out is cumulative of both ) it look pretty like this configuration but again , Sa m'embete un peu pour l'instant , ''le temps de me démêler avec tout sa ''

btw, put one under a good magnifier to make sure there is only one transistor and not a darlington.

    lol
maybe you can work out the NPN from the PNP by the polarity of the power rail.

if you mean geting the base-drive signals, you could use spring-loaded pins on a bit of stripboard over the module.

you can solder though, you just need a good iron - it's metalised-ceramic substrate.
    it acts like a heatsink.

i think the big deal with theses IC's is to solder a wire on it because its not copper based but alloy pcb . i will check if it is possible to solder a wire directly on a SMD resistor or simply The AMP PCB without toutching at the SVI directly , probably i will only need to Tap the 4 Collectors connections that is not identified on my picture im happy if at this point the idea of concept is possible

sounds good, i would try it too with the cost of those hybrids.
dont forget to meter he base-drive transistors incase they are aso damaged.

SVI3206D Hybrid IC ( BC POWER MODULE BY SANYO)

    hi members !

today i work on an old technics amplifier with blowed SVI3206 IC ,, everyo0ne know theses IC become pretty rare , here this amp is sold for about 75$ the price of the SVI IC ,, here is the standard trouble of thechnics engineering , ( failed cooling , PNP power transistor unsoldered themselves and shorted out ,

so my plan is not to replace this HYbrid board , BUt REPLACING ONLY POWER FETS ON IT by subtilise it with standard PNP/NPN power transistor mounted directly on heatsink ,, a lot of time to lost here but if all this become to work , it will be an usefull way to recover Blowed SVI/STK Powers modules .. i will post somes pictures of my devlopment soon , if anywone hane any info to point me in a good direction it will be really appreciated , KEEP In mind i do dat in priority for RESEARCH AND DEVLOPPEMENT , no need to say y will lost some time on that ! but its my plan !
    thanks
